Great for Camping
I got these for my pop up camper. Their lightweight, stainless steel construction makes them very pleasing. This won’t make big meals, but it’s great for one or two people! I like how everything can be collapsed into the frying pan and locked. That makes it nice for driving around with so it’s not flying around in the PUP cabinets.

Small cooking pan with a handle, smaller pot with lid and plate, which may be used as a cover for the cooking pan. Everything is compact for the backpack. Can’t beat the price. I got these for my kids mud kitchen so they could play with them. They are stainless and have been out half the summer with no issues. I rinse them off and all the dirt comes off and no rust.

I haven’t had a mess kit like this since I was in Cub Scouts. There are some differences, but still basically the same. This is a much nicer kit than the one I had as a youngster. The sides and bottoms are made of thicker materials/metal and I have a feeling using this on an open flame won’t melt a hole in the center. So far, this mess kit has been easy to use and to clean afterward. Nice camping mess kit. Not too heavy but they feel solid in my hand and fit in my pack very well. Will be going camping next week so I will update the review if there is anything notable.

Good budget cookset
One of the things that is hard about camping and especially backpack camping is finding the implements of daily life that have been reduced to their barest essentials.This cook set does this. You have a long handled skillet, a plate/skillet cover, a pot with lid, and a plastic measuring cup.For what you get at the price point, its not bad at all. The shiney mirror polished look won’t last past the first time you put fire to the pieces though, but that should be expected of any camp gear.This is a good place to start, for the price it allows you to do some light cooking and serving (though I think a non metallic plate would be more comfortable to eat from.The pieces work, and fit together, and the skillet handle folds over the bundle and snaps in place. The title of the listing said something about a bag, but I didn’t get one and frankly I don’t consider it enough of a loss to demerit a star.

These are convenient to take camping, for example. They are much smaller than anticipated. If you’re cooking for a family, you will have to cook in batches with these. But it is nice they can be packed all within one another and take up no space at all. I will definitely be using these this summer. Good quality.

Stainless steel camping cookware set. A little heavier than more modern materials, but a great value and well constructed. Great for short hiking trips and car or tent camping. Holds up well and packs tight.

Lightweight yet sturdy. Very durable and will take high heat easily. Just remember to grab the handles with a cloth or hot pad.The little pot is also easy to suspend over a fire if necessary. I keep a length of steel wire just for that rolled up in the kit, along with some steel wool, a mini lighter, and a cut sponge for cleaning.Overall, every kit needs one of these. I suggest getting a set for every member of the family!
