THIS is a portable event chair.
I have not taken this chair anywhere yet, but I have used it around the yard and by the clubhouse pool just to try it out. It comes as a SMALL item to carry around. Only weighs about 5 pounds. It is truly a portable chair, not one of those backpack chairs that are not really portable. I will actually take this one to the beach or on a hike. It takes about 10 seconds to unfold it for use and another 30 seconds to put it back in its carrier. Truly portable and useful. 5-star.

A great chair for outdoor concerts
I finally got a great chair for outdoor concerts. Other chairs I’ve tried are either too tall, too hard to assemble, too reclining, or all of the above. This chair sits only about 4 inches above ground (ground to seat bottom), which is well below the 12″ height limit of our favorite outdoor concert venues. No assembly is required for use — it just unfolds into a usable chair. And it sits fairly upright, not reclining too far back like other chairs I’ve tried, where you end up facing 45 degrees above the horizon. This chair fits into a carrying case that’s about 32″ long. You won’t be taking this backpacking, but great for the beach, camping, and concerts.

Great For Kids
This is a cute little chair for kids or smaller people. It is easy to get in and out of if you are little or young. It is very low to the ground. It is pretty much see-through. This is too expensive right now. It comes in its own carry case. It is made decently. Only time will tell if it will last.

Nice compact chair
This is a nice compact chair that comes with a carry bag. It is very low to the ground so if anyone is in front of you, you won’t be able to see anything. I got it for fishing – much more compact than the standard folding camp chair and a little lighter.

Cool portable beach chair
Cool as in the fabric is such that it breathes but also sturdy to support my weight. Happy with the style and folding design that it fits in a carrying bag to easily bring to beach, picnic or campsite.

Lightweight, low profile camp chair
This is a really easy to carry, lightweight camp chair with breezy mesh back and seat (which I love for more air circulation). It is very low profile so keep that in mind if you have a hard time getting up and down from the ground. We have been using it to spectate at my son’s soccer games and I’m thrilled with how light it is and easy to set up/take down. No cup holder, if that’s important to you, but my water bottle never fits in those anyway.

New to these, I love them
I didn’t immediately understand the purpose of designing a seat so close to the ground, but now that I do, I think it’s brilliant. At home, I like to have my legs stretched out comfortably in front of me, such as on an ottoman. Regular-height camping chairs make that difficult. By being closer to the ground, you can stretch your legs out very comfortably, almost as if you were using an ottoman, but you’re not. This chair here is very sturdy, very well made, and really easy to fold out or fold up and carry around.

Folding chair
Pros: This chair is lightweight and compact. The legs are made from all aluminum that attach to a central plastic hinge. This keeps it very lightweight. The canvas seat just attaches in the 4 corners and is removable and the legs all fold up neatly. This allows for everything to fold up in a nice compact package that is easy to carry around. The seat canvas material feels very sturdy and will have no issues holding up to the 300 pound weight limit. The size once unfolded and put together is pretty large. Most comparable chairs like this are much much smaller and not nearly as comfortable to sit in and this chair is very comfortable.Overall: This is a pretty compact and lightweight backpacking chair that does what it is designed to do and is pretty comfortable. As long as you are not approaching the weight limit of the chair then you should love it. I recommend this chair.
