Simple and a great price!
All I use are drip coffee makers like this one, I’ve had 2 by ‘mr coffee’ and the last one lasted only 1 year! This is my first by Amazon so hopefully it’ll last awhile! This is super easy to use, and I really like the reusable filter! The price was right compared to other fancy machines with foam and ice coffee and all that other garbage that people drink today. I like my coffee black and strong, I don’t need all that foof! My only complaint with this machine is sometimes when you pour the water into the machine the water will run down the side of the carafe and dribble on the counter, but im pretty sure all drip coffee makers have this same issue. There’s no timer, it comes in 2 colors, black or stainless steel, not too big so it fits nice on a counter under the cabinets!

Coffee maker
I bought this because I got tired of buying the preprogrammable coffee makers at ridiculous prices. This works really well and it’s quicker at making coffee than programmable ones. You do have to shut coffee maker off when you are done with coffee. So if you can’t remember to shut off this product is not for you.

Perfect for the classroom
I am a high school teacher and my students use this every day, twice and sometimes three times a day, for the last two months. It has worked perfectly every time. Because of the price I am not worried about it breaking down after a school year because I am going to get the same one for next year. I love how it has the auto shut off, because of teacher brain.

The Perfect Coffee Pot
I am not one to have a coffee pot that has all of the ‘bells and whistles’ that comes with the pot. I just wanted a 5-cup coffee pot that is operated with one button -the on and off. Turns out this pot has the basic needs that some of the other 5-cup pots I’ve tried and failed miserably. The Amazon coffee pot includes a ‘non-drip’ between servings that actually works, an automatic shut off after 2 hours and keeps coffee hot much longer than other cheaper coffee pots. I doubt there are many looking for a simple coffee pot that performs perfectly but, if so I strongly suggest giving the Amazon 5 Cup Drip Coffee Maker a try.

Wonderful little coffee maker
Wonderful little guy, brews a nice cup of coffee. I got the 5 cup model (I believe they mean the 6oz cup here) and I’ve been using the washable filter. It works the way most of these classic style machines work, it’s a single on/off switch. Fill your grounds, water and switch on. It has a hot plate that keeps the coffee warm if you want it off you have to switch the machine off after it brews your pot.If you want a smaller machine to use near your desk or office, it’s great! For a more standard size of machine get the 12 cup. For just me this one is brilliant.

Rightsizing your coffee maker is key for a 2nd good cup of coffee!
I live alone and usually have two larger size cups of coffee every morning. Typical standard 10 – 12 cup coffee pots have always been an issue for me as all warming pads are non-adjustable in temperature (why is that?). By the time I go back to refill my cup, the remaining coffee left in the pot is always burnt.Ironically if you buy a standalone warmer for a cup of coffee or tea, they are almost understandably adjustable in temperature. Coffee machine makers need to fix this imho. I could care less about clocks, timers, etc.Years ago, I switched to a 10-cup B&D glass thermal carafe coffee maker which worked great. No heating pad, no burnt 2nd cup of coffee. I couldn’t wait too long for the 2nd cup, as with only two cups of coffee the heat from the small amount of coffee could not keep the remaining coffee hot for too long, but it worked. As with all things after years of faithful service, that pot eventually died.I then bought a brand new highly rated B&D 12 cup steel thermal carafe coffee maker as B&D no longer makes smaller thermal glass carafe models. A great machine, but a huge mistake. The 12-cup steel thermal carafe does not hold heat like the older 10-cup glass thermal carafe did, so the 2nd cup is almost always cool. B&D tries to put “lipstick on this pig” by strongly suggesting you preheat the steel carafe with hot water for a few minutes, then empty it, THEN make your 2-3 cups of coffee if you want it hot. Man, too much effort, too much waster of hot water. This little machine is sized perfectly for my needs. Its measure of a cup of coffee is much smaller than mine (smaller volume), and yes, the number of cups indicated on the waterline of the machine doesn’t align with number of cups markings on the carafe (one cup less), I can live with that. This Amazon Basics five cup machine is good looking, small, simple, and very well made for what it is meant to be. While so much smaller, it can still use standard circular disposable coffee filers if you don’t wish to use the reusable filter that comes with it.The burner pad is sized for the smaller amount of coffee so it DOES NOT BURN the second cup of coffee! It was $20 vs $65 for my now boxed up and stored 12-cup B&D steel thermal machine. My only “complaint” is I think the glass wall of the carafe of this Amazon Basics machine is VERY thin. You must treat it very gently or it is going to break.Well done, Amazon! This coffee marker is MUCH less expensive and far simpler than a Kerig coffee machine. While it’s a little more work than a Kerig, not by much.-

The best simple and inexpensive coffee maker
The media could not be loaded.
I love this 12 cup coffee maker. As a single mom of 3, my mornings are chaotic. This coffee maker makes my mornings a little easier. It is so quick, easy, efficient, and won’t break the bank. This Amazon Basics coffee maker looks great and is so easy to clean. I love how simple it is to use. This is the perfect coffee maker if you like simple easy to make coffee. It literally only takes a few minutes to brew. I usually load it up the night before with coffee and water, and in the morning I turn it on. By the time I wake up my kids to start the day, Coffee is ready to use.

Easy Peezy for less than 20 bucks
This is perfect if you’re just looking for a medium to mix caffeine in, not some fru-fru monstrosity that costs hundreds of dollars and a degree from MIT to figure out. Very simple, very easy, makes a damn fine pot of Death Wish Coffee Company double caffeine dark roast so what more could you need or want. And it’s less than 20 bux. Plus no coffee filters. Also doesn’t take up any counter space. As Nike says, “Just Do it.”
