Amazon Basics Coffee Maker
I really enjoy this machine. It reminds me of a Farberware brand that I had a while back. Going through some of the reviews, a few issues that some people mentioned, I experienced with my old coffee maker. If you happen to not get the correct amount of water (too little) when you brew, there is a little screen under the water container. Just look into that little hole where it “plugs” into. I used to have to clean the other one regularly. I’ve had no problems since using filtered water but that screen can get blocked using faucet water. I used to have to clean the other one regularly.Another issue, The K Cup not getting punctured properly. That’s happened to me on different brands so I always manually push the K Cup onto the bottom needle before I close the lid. Works pretty good for me.Longevity remains to be seem. The Farberware one didn’t last very long. If this one doesn’t, the price is right and I’ll get another. This model brews very fast. Huge plus. Easy to use and it fits my travel mug.One thing I am doing is unplugging it as recommended when I’m finished with it for the day.Zero complaints so far.

Great Keurig maker. lot less expensive compared to name brand. I have water and pod in place so in the morning all Ihave to do is push buttons and coffee is ready momentarily However I have found sometimes coffee maker doesn’t work properly. You lift the lid up and there is a white piece. Stick a paperclip in the tip opening and move it. it cleans out the tip so coffee will flow

Follow manual to De-scale after 200 batches
Absolutely love this machine! Price was great, coffee is perfect. For those who complain about the blinking lights on the machine, look in the instruction manual that tells you how to de-scale the machine after every 200 servings. After a few months, the lights blinked for me as well, and I assumed that I could just run vinegar mixture through it, but the lights continued to blink. Of course, if you just press the buttons, you can still make coffee, but I unplugged it each time because of the blinking lights afterwards. Today I went back and looked at the manual, and didn’t realize that to actually start the descaling process, You need to press both buttons for the ground and pod. It will then start to cycle one batch of your vinegar mixture, stop for a few seconds, then run another batch and so on until it’s finished. My lights are no longer blinking and repetition and it’s just like new!

Consumer Unfriendly
I’m very pleased so far with this coffee maker. It heats the water and brews the coffee in just a minute or two. However, the reason I purchased this product is that the mesh coffee basket on my SBOLY maker (purchased via Amazon) developed a hole in the mesh screen and coffee grounds found their way into my coffee. Unfortuately SBOLY did NOT sell replacement parts.Now that I have this new coffee maker I checked to see if I could buy replacement parts from Amazon in the event I had the same problem but was told NO. It seems both impractable and expensive to have to replace an entire machine when all you need is one small accessory.

Good things in life are sometimes the simplest. I use this K Cup coffee maker daily for both coffee and tea. It heats up quickly and provides great results. The amount of counter space used is minimal.

Love! Love! Love! I bought this for in my home office and I am absolutely obsessed with it! My kids won’t stop using it to make hot cocoa! lol. It’s easy to use and holds up well with 3 kids using it constantly! Uses k-cups and other generic k-style cups. It does splatter a bit so I put a paper towel behind the cup to keep it clean

Looks well made, brews fast
I’ve been using this brewer for about a week now. It works well and brews quickly. I just wish the reservoir was larger. I just fill my mug with water and pour in the reservoir before I make each cup, so that really isn’t an issue. You need to reset the cup size each time you turn it on, which is not a big deal. The brew temperature is fine for drinking right away. If you don’t plan to drink the whole cup right away, I would put it into a thermal mug of some kind to keep it warm longer. That’s really my only complaint. I haven’t used the insert for regular ground coffee yet, so I don’t know how that works. I would recommend pushing a new K cup down on the bottom needle before closing the lid. You will notice the foil cover go “limp”. Since the housing is stronger than the foil cover, just closing the cover lets the top needle puncture the softer foil cover first. Then, when the bottom needle punctures the housing, it can force small flecks of coffee back into the top nozzle. I’ve read that is the most common reason for Keurig machine failures. UPDATE: After I wrote the above, my Brewer started making smaller cups than I selected. I noticed that the tank cover wasn’t quite flush with the main housing. I pushed it down firmly so that it was flush, and it made the selected cup size.

Great alternative to name brand coffee maker. Works great. Coffee is nice and hot. I like that i can use a pod or a little basket. Nice size water reservoir.
