WOW, WOW, WOW!!! This is ABSOLUTELY the PERFECT Percolator!Let me POINT OUT THE PERKS–no pun intended! 😉 :::1) Charging base, so you do NOT have a pesky cord to get in the way, when you go to pour coffee. You can quite literally keep the percolator on the counter, then carry to the table to pour cups of coffee, then return the percolator to the base!2) ON & OFF lighted switch. Most percolators do NOT have an ON & OFF switch! LOVE being able to leave the percolator on the base and simply turning it off without having to yank the cord out of the wall to unplug it!3) Power Light to show if the percolator is indeed powered on or off, without necessarily having to look at the ON/OFF switch which is also lighted!4) Stainless Steel inside & out–ALL parts, the entire percolator, the basket and the perking rod. No BPAs or Aluminum to leach into your Coffee!5) Both the Percolator pot (inside the chamber) & the coffee grounds basket have the cup volume designated, so you know exactly how much water for 2 to 12 cups and how much coffee grounds for 2 to 12 cups are needed.6) It is a PERCOLATOR, it does make a Perking noise, that’s what a percolator does! The Apoxxon percolator
Received this percolator yesterday. Had our first cup of coffee. It was perfect! We love it! Wanted other options something besides a Kurig and Nespresso. Just like our grandparents made their coffee! We are looking forward to many cups of coffee! The percolator works just like it should and I like the looks of it on my counter.

The lid leaks when pouring coffee
From the beginning the lid would occasionally drip a couple of drops of coffee when pouring from a full pot. Now when pouring the last cup, the coffee is a stream coming out into the counter top.

Makes very,very weak coffee
I don’t know why there are so many gushing reviews about the coffee maker. I bought one in March. We had bought a fancy antique percolator for last Christmas for parties and were so impressed with the quality of the coffee that i decided to get one like my Mom’s sleek mid-century Sunbeam for everyday. We were sick of the Kitchen Aid, Mr. Coffee … that we and everyone else has. The drip makers make lousy coffee to our taste, no matter the quality of the beans, the grind, the purified water, whatever! Well, I started using this Percolator according to instructions. Seemed OK. My wife commented that it didn’t taste as good as the antique Percolator product. I experimented a bit, ditched the filters I bought immediately and got decent coffee for a short while. The design is nice and sleek. I like the Pyrex knob and its easy to use. Unfortunately over time, the coffee has gotten weaker and weaker. I keep it clean. I loaded it up with grounds of different grades. Tried making smaller batches. I even tired brewing it at night and then cycling it again in the morning. No dice. Unfortunately it is now the end of May and what I hav here is a pretty and pretty useless piece of equipment. I am not going to revert to an espresso machine, as they are too much of a hassle and we just want good strong, not mud, hot coffee! So i guess I’ll have to go back to the Kitchenaid drip, Oy! Maybe I can find another 21st century percolator that does what my Mom’s Sunbeam did or our 1930’s Percolator electric does so well; make hot, flavorful coffee! Don’t waste your money like I did.

The best Electric Percolator I’ve ever had!
My hubby and I switched to an Electric Percolator about 15 years ago. The first one we bought was from an antique store. That one lasted over 10 years for us (daily coffee drinkers). When that one conked out I purchased another from Amazon. I never really liked it that much and coffee grounds ended up in the coffee. That one lasted 1 1/2 yrs. Then I purchased another from here and that one lasted maybe 2 years (and coffee grounds galore, even using filters! Ugh) That one conked out a couple weeks ago…. I debated on Percolator or Coffee Maker. It seems ridiculous to me that the Percolators lasted such a short time. They just don’t make things like they used to!!!!!I came on Amazon again and looked and looked. I really did want a Percolator due to space on my counter. I found this one and read the reviews and decided to take a chance. I received it a week ago and I am in love with this one!!!! It is SOooo well built. Very sturdy. All Stainless Steel and glass (No hot plastic for us) The basket and lid fit extremely tight and the holes don’t go straight through. The holes on the basket and lid are like the steel is punched down so the coffee drains out the sides of the punched steel and not directly down a hole. Well, let me tell you NO coffee grounds!!!!! I still use a filter but I’ll bet I don’t need to. Grounds free down to the last cup, with or without the basket in while pouring coffee!! That’s a big deal to us!!! Plus it has an actual turn on/off switch, not an on/off “button” that broke and got stuck on our last one and tripped our breaker every time when it was going out. Oh and this one has a 3 prong plug in. None of the others did.So with that said, I could not be happier with this Percolator!!!! I don’t usually review purchases on here but this is so good, I just had to let you know!!!!! Happy coffee day!!!!!

Perfect coffee pot…
I try a lot of coffee makers and this one is the best out of all of them .. I love the taste of the of the coffee that it makes . The brew speed is fast .I love that it has auto shut off . The capacity is perfect for me and my husband.. don’t see any leakage at all. I will buy this again…

Really like the coffee maker. It’s as fast as the pour throughs, stays warm for a reasonable amount of time after turning off. Coffee tastes great.
