I have only had this coffee grind/brew coffee pot for 5 days and I love it. It is easy to use. Accurate in brew strength. Makes great coffee. Doesn’t take up too much room on my counter. Makes a little or a lot. Can’t say enough good about it. And the price is right!!

Best 1st cup of coffee from a coffee maker, ever!

Right out of the box, this was a best buy! I am replacing my Cuisinart grind and brew with this model, and the 1st cup was just like that hearty brew, that you can get at any coffee shop you can find. I decided to make the the boldest cup I could handle, and it was absolutely delicious, not bitter… And had same “pike place” body, that other coffee makers are unable to provide.The basket grinder idea is brilliant! I was able to pour in the amount of beans I wanted, and select the boldness I wanted, with ease. The amount of beans is crucial to me, and this model is perfect in getting the right balance of temperature and water to filter all of the flavors into the coffee!Of course, after making a pot of coffee, you will need to clean out the filter, every time. That process is extremely easy and satisfying, because you can see all the parts that need to be cleaned, and they are dishwasher safe, as well. From previous experience, I recommend always hand cleaning your removable, cleanable parts, that ensures that nothing is getting melted or lost in the dishwasher, and you can see where all of the dirt and grinds that need to be removed are.ALSO Important! Run freshwater through the coffee maker before putting any coffee through it the first time! It is clearly written in the instructions, and every coffee maker that I have purchased over the last 45 years, I have also run vinegar through first, to get any impurities out of the line, and then run TWO freshwater pots… This is time honored, and parent influenced wisdom.This is really a 10 star review, because I purchased this excellent coffee maker, less than three days before it arrived!Great job, Amazon!

Great inexpensive grinder coffee maker combo unit
This replaces my Keurig with a reusable K-cup. The Keurig wasn’t bad, but getting the coffee grounds into the reusable K-cup was extremely messy and had to be repeated for every cup of coffee.Researching grinder/coffee maker combos, a common complaint for grinders that dropped the coffee grounds into a filter was that they didn’t work well with dark roast (my preferred beans) as the grounds would clog the chute. This coffee maker avoids that by grinding them inside the reusable brewing basket.Several folks have commented that the coffee is weak, but I’ve found that using 1Tbsp of beans per cup and the strong setting makes a very strong coffee.Others have said that it doesn’t make the coffee hot enough or doesn’t keep it hot. I haven’t had that experience. Mine is nuclear right after brewing and is still hotter than my Keurig used to make even after sitting on the keep warm setting for over an hour.One reviewer mentioned the overflow hole in the fill tank made this a less than 12-cup coffee maker. I’m able to get a full 12-cups and appreciate water overflowing out of the fill tank rather than excess coffee spilling out of the coffee maker if I ever tried to put too much water in.A point that I can agree on is that the grinder IS loud. Do I have to warn others in the house before using it as some have noted, though? No, that’s just plain silly.All-in-all, this appliance has made my morning coffee ritual exponentially more pleasant, producing a strong hot carafe full of coffee with no mess to clean up afterwards.

Not perfect but much better than Cuisinart
Grind and brew works as advertised. Makes great coffee. We had a Cuisinart grind and brew before. It was loud and a major league hassle to clean This one is super. It works great. It’s quiet – not an alarm clock like the Cuisinart. It’s easy to clean. Easy rinse out. The cuisinart requires digging into a curved plastic part that gets caked with ground coffee. My complaints with this one are 1) that it only stays warm for 2 hours. No adjustment beyond that, and 2) no adjustment for the holding temperature. Plus 3) rather than giving you a countdown to how much time is left for the heater to stay on, it counts up. In other words, if the heater timer shows 100, you only have 20 minutes left. 4) The lid is attached permanently to the carafe so loading it in the dishwasher is awkward. 5) The big silver Black and Decker plaque on the front is unsightly, but you get used to it. I’d buy it again.

Best coffee maker!
I love it! It’s the best coffee maker I’ve ever used! I’ve had many, from expensive to inexpensive, but this one has it all over them! It’s fast, hot, easy to use & program, plus the screen hasn’t fogged up either! The convenience of dual functionality of whole bean or ground is AWESOME!

Flawless and delicious!!!
We have owned two of these and have enjoyed having delicious coffee from freshly-ground, excellent beans (Lavazza Top Choice, sometimes espresso version but usually filtro), programmed the night before. Heavenly coffee to wake up to. Both of our Black & Decker Mill & Brew coffee makers have performed flawlessly. To the reviewer who can’t get her filter out: use the swing-up handle on it, and it comes right out. We had the 1st over six years, and I bought a second simply bc I didn’t know how to properly clean the fine-meshed filter and it accumulated some hard debris. I scraped it out with a sharp knife! The new one, which I’ve easily kept clean for almost 3 years now, I just spray out with the kitchen spray hose, first inside, then from the outside along each section (sides and bottom). Takes only a minute. I also run it through the dishwasher every month or two and that’s all it takes. I also give a quick rinse to the funnel that holds the filter. Easy to use, SUPERB coffee that stays hot and somehow doesn’t get bitter nearly as quickly as with other coffee makers and coffee brands. Great features: select how long to grind, how strong to make, when to start brewing (immediately, or program), etc. Love it and will likely buy another just to stash in the basement to have when this one eventually goes. As grinders go, it isn’t very loud, though if our bedroom door is open, we do hear it go off in the morning…this has become a very happy sound association. After over eight years, we still get excited about getting up for a cup of Lavazza Top Class, freshly ground and brewed in an EXCELLENT coffee maker. Lower maintenance than the pricey super-automatics, way more affordable, easy cleaning, and–best of all–amazing coffee. Highly recommend.

Best coffee maker ever!
Hands down, this is the best coffee maker with built in grinder I’ve ever owned! I bought it in July 2020, it’s now October 2025, and she’s still working perfectly. My husband and I love everything about this machine. You can program the grind, number of cups, what time you want or to brew, all the things. The burr is in the brew basket, so there is no cure for the grounds to clog up in on the way to the brew basket. It’s just one piece, and so easy to clean. You deserve this coffee maker!

This is my favorite coffee maker ever! It makes the best cup of coffee with ease, all you need to do is add beans and water. Coffee grinder is quite and quick. Cleanup is a snap! You won’t be disappointed in this purchase.
