Impressed!
Iโve ordered and returned other automatic machines. Iโve also had various Nespresso machines. This unit is solid and I have been so impressed with the quality of the drinks, the milk frother, etc.Itโs been fairly low maintenance, but have had to descale/clean the unit after about 2.5 weeks of heavy use by 3 coffee drinkers in our house. The process to descale and clean was simple and actually easier than the Nespresso Vertuo process and alert time to descale as well.I also ordered the Lavazza Crema beans (blue bag) to avoid any oily espresso beans that may clog up the grinder. That has been a stellar bean and will continue to order that. This machine is terrific, well built, and the coffee it creates is delicious. Iโm so impressed that I may even consider swapping out other kitchen appliances to the Bosch brand in the future.

Great automatic espresso machine.
We bought this fully automatic espresso machine to cut down on the expense of our Nespresso pods. So far we love this machine. The beans we use are from Lavazza.. both the blue bag and the grand crema black bag. Both make a great coffee. I do still have my Nespresso that I now use for decaf coffee only so I donโt have to empty the bean hopper on the Bosch. ๐

Makes a great cup of coffee/espresso o the spot
Update after 2 months of usage:* Still making great cup of coffee on the spot.* Calcโn Clean process is becoming an easier after couple of times.Update after 3 weeks of usage:* Makes a great cup of espresso, coffee, or cappuccino on demand.* Easy to clean.* Just did a Calc’n Clean process. It’s a bit involved, but WORTH the effort for an automatic espresso machine.Initial feedback:==================Was a bit hesitant initially about getting a fully automatic espresso machine, but after a week of using it, multiple times a day, the machine has exceeded my expectation.Pros:- Makes a hot and good cup of coffee/espresso with the integrated grinder. Although the grinder can be a bit noisy, the grinding time is only few seconds.- Ease of use- Self rinse at start-up and prior to auto-shut-down. It does use about a cup of water per rinse, but I’d much rather the machine self-rinse than me doing it. Some review indicated the water needs refill often, not a big deal for me.Con:- No easy way to swap out coffee beans. I’d like to have coffee throughout the day, but not caffeine all the time, so I’d like to have decaf in the afternoon. But, to do so, I would need to take out regular coffee beans prior to put in decaf beans. So, I’m learning to just fill the bean container with enough beans for the morning so that I can easily swap out for decaf beans in the afternoon.Overall, a great machine. Will plan to provide updates after a month of usage.

A perfect latte every morning.
Iโve had this machine for about 6 months, and I love it! It is super easy to use and clean.Definitely read the instructions when you get it so you can set it up properly and make the adjustments you want. With the latte macchiato setting and cappuccino setting it froths the milk and adds 1 shot of espresso. With the espresso setting you can add 1 or 2 shots. And then the coffee setting you can adjust up to about a 12 oz cup of coffee. So lots of different options. For cleaning I empty and clean the tray once a week and remove the inner mechanism and rinse it. Then once a month I descale the machine, which is super easy you really just put the tablets in and the machine does the rest. And then I replace the water filter every 2 months. The only cons I can see is that water tank is pretty small, so you have to fill it frequently. And also, if you like your drinks really hot then you wonโt like this machine, since you can not adjust the temperature.

Very impressed so far
After 3 Jura machines that failed in less than a year I was looking for something durable & bosch came to mind.Very impressed so far, great tasting Espresso with wonderful crema (I use lavazza beans) & the milk in cup option is geniusDifferent from the Jura machines that are unserviceable & need to be sent in, here the brewing unit is accessible, can be cleaned & is available as spare part.I had a Siemens machine of similar build that lasted like 10 years (I swapped the brewing unit once)The menu & options are great not too simple (like the tschibo or jura ena4) & not too crazy fancy like the high end jura ones.I was mostly looking for durability but the taste & options are much better than I expected at the price point and easily beat the jura d6.Will update review if needed but I thinkI found a machine that will last.

Bosch expresso machine
I had my reservations about spending this amount of money on an expresso machine. I had a pod machine before. Iโm so glad I decided to purchase this after constantly hearing how fresh ground coffee beans taste so much better. They were not wrong. When family comes over, the first thing they ask is, will you please make me an expresso. Itโs easy to clean, something I was also concerned might take long. I can tell the quality of this machine is top notch, and will last for many years to come. Also buying coffee beans, is much cheaper, then purchasing pods every month. Honestly it had got to where, pods were just getting to expensive. That alone will pay for this machine in the long run.

Absolutely worth it! Our whole family has them.

First off, I have had this machine for 4 months. I wanted to give it a good test period, before reviewing. This machine is absolutely worth the price! It is an all-in-one machine, and takes up a relatively small footprint on the counter. There is a built in grinder, so the grounds are always fresh. They empty into an internal basket, so there are zero coffee grounds on the counter to deal with. The removable water tank has a water filter & is easy to fill. The entire operation of this machine is so easy, and the coffee is so perfect, youโd think you were at a coffee house. It also makes espresso drinks easy in the morning, because you can put your cup under it, go get ready, and come back to a freshly made, grab & go coffee, as you run out the door. No more waiting in long morning coffee drive thrus & spending $7 a cup. Everyone in my household uses it, and everyone in my extended family owns this machine. It is easy to use, makes wonderful coffee drinks, and is fast, & tidy. 1000% worth the price, for all of the time & money you will save making it at home. Plus, you will impress guests with your barista skills. (Just donโt let them see that all you did was push a button. lol.)***There are some reviews stating it doesnโt get the milk hot enough. This depends on how much milk you put in the cup. For instance, if I am making a grande latte, I need to run it through the latte macchiato setting twice-because I have a lot more milk. You can also set the frothing time, utilizing the milk button. Donโt let that scare you off. Once you play with it, you will get the milk temp set perfect.Definitely recommend this machine. We love it and use it, probably 4 times a day.

Amazing espresso machine!
After having this espresso machine for 8 months now, I can say, you shouldnโt hesitate & just buy it! My husband and i use it every day multiple times a day and itโs the best quality coffee we have ever had, hands down. He always does double shots of espresso while Iโll do a cup of coffee but I also like making an iced latte with a double shot as well.We use the Lavazza creama beans and its chefs kiss. My dad had come and stayed with us for a few days and was raving how much he loved our coffee machine. It truly is great quality!

Love it
Great machine. Strongly recommended. Working Great and most importantly everything is so simple and easy, no complications. That’s what I was looking for, fast, easy, simple and doing the job right without too many programms that I never would use anyway. Cleaning is very easy too. Decalcification process was easy programming too.The Design is beautiful. Well made. Noisy, but ok.Just one advise .When you are making cappuccino or macchiato- if you want really great frotting of the milk with a lot of creamer at the top, first use “frott milk” button and after that do “Cappuccino “. If you are on hurry or just little frotting is ok,just use appropriate button for coffee you want. You can adjust how strong your coffee should be..5 is the strongest. The espresso is very strong at this machine (warning!) The regular coffee on this machine is strong like espresso on other machines I had before, like Phillips. Just saying ๐Love it so far and recommended.

Cheaper than Starbucks
We have this espresso machine for about 6 months now, and we love it. At first, I was hesitant in buying one because you normally need a grinder, a tamping device, frother and the machine itself. With this Bosch machine, it’s all built in. It was also $200 dollars off at the time. There isn’t much maintenance, but when you have too….- If you use the milk frother, then the frother stick is held on magnetically so it’s easy to take off and rinse.- The used coffee grounds are contained internally. The machine will tell you when you need to empty it. Normally around 7-9 cups before it tells you that you have to empty it. This is super easy to do, just open the door and take out the bin.- The drip tray captures a lot of water. The machine will also tell you when you need to empty it. I’m not sure where it’s coming from, but it will need to get empty around two rounds of emptying the used coffee ground bin. This is also easy to do. Open the door and pull out the tray. It will contain the used coffee bin in the tray.- Once a week, the main part (tamping and drip section) needs to be taken out, rinsed and dried. This is simple and easy to do. Just rinse under water and let dry. The machine doesn’t tell you this, but you should. The coffee ground dust get everywhere inside.- Once in a while, the machine will require a deep cleaning. This requires buying Bosch tablets to descale and sanitize the system. This is probably the hardest thing to do and takes time. One time, my wife made her drink and right after it required me to perform the deep cleaning cycle (so I resorted to old drip and filter way to get my fix). I think it depends on the hardness of your water, which you have to set initially. There is one model where you can put your espresso cups on top and it will warm it up.One thing that we would like to have is a second espresso bean hopper. If you want a different type of bean, like decaffeinated, you will need to either finish what’s in the hopper or tilt the whole machine on it’s side to take out the other bean first. We were definitely happy with this. We don’t miss going to a coffee shop.
