So far, So good. Good budget grinder.

Falling down the rabbit hole of coffee and espresso and one of the most important devices to have is apparently a good grinder. Whether it be manual or electric it needs to be consistent and grind well. I was using a blade grinder thinking that i was using a coffee grinder for years but realized i needed to be using a conical burr grinder. Not wanting to spend a lot of money i researched amazon products and landed on this little guy. Currently I’m using it for French Press and it grinds beans with ease. On the most coarse setting it seems to me like it’s a medium grind and would like it more coarse but I’m not complaining because i really bought this for future use making espresso. The build seems durable and i don’t foresee any issues short term with the grinder. I opted for the stainless because i didn’t even know ceramic ones were an option until after i read the reviews and most said the ceramic was inconsistent with size and durability. Now that i have a consistent grind i will probably use less beans for my french press since the grind is all even across the grind vs. some chunky, some fine grinds that blade grinder was giving me. If this grinder gives me issues I’ll update my review but right now after only a few days grinding it’s been treating me well. 7/22/25

    Grind

If you don’t mind a little manual labor for your coffee, this grinder allows you to select a wide variety of grinds. Works as advertised.

    Satisfying

I am very pleased. It’s kind of a ritual to grind the coffee manually like this. Even though sometimes I do a few days ahead because it does take quite a while to grind enough to fill the little cup at the bottom. But I love it because it’s so satisfying. I have another one that is electric but that is just for herbs and spices. Also I plan on taking this one camping.. I’m kind of a coffee buff so I make coffee in my French press. I probably have a dozen different varieties in my pantry. Even when I buy a specialty coffee that is already ground I regrind it in this to get a finder grind so I can have espresso quality coffee. You should try it sometime. I know it sounds funny and redundant grinding coffee that’s already ground but yes putting on the finest grind and grinding it again does make a difference and makes coffee last longer.

The short answer: sturdy, well-made, grinds well, and I recommend it.

I want to note upfront that I wasn’t given anything or offered any incentives for this review which I fear happens more often than not; I purchased this grinder myself. I also don’t usually write reviews, but I felt this one was worth it. This is the first coffee grinder I’ve ever purchased, and I’ve been genuinely impressed. The short answer: sturdy, well-made, grinds well, and I recommend it. Long answer below. The long answer:The Mini Manual Coffee Grinder is well-made, sturdy, and smooth to operate, with a conical burr that grinds quickly and evenly. It’s not cumbersome at all, and the crank turns easily without feeling flimsy. It’s also simple to assemble and disassemble, making cleaning and switching between beans easy and hassle-free.The 40 adjustable settings are, if I’m being honest, probably overkill, but it does give you precise control over grind size, and surprisingly, you can tell a difference between settings. For mokapot brewing, I’ve found that settings 6–9 work best, while 23–26 are ideal for a French press. The grind consistency has been excellent for both. As someone new to grinding coffee at home, I found this to be a user-friendly and thoughtfully designed grinder that makes a real difference in the quality of my brew. Highly recommend.

    OMG so good!

Bought this with my own money. Highly recommend. I was skeptical for the low price and almost bought an expensive grinder. The grind is consistent which causes coffee to taste incredible. I highly recommend this. I take it camping and started using it more than my electric burr grinder. 10/10 recommend. Do not hesitate

    Good little grinder!

1 week review: So far I am very pleased with this item. I had purchased a much more expensive and well-reviewed similar item several months ago but ultimately wasn’t that happy. Even though it was all metal, there was high static with the fill container and adjusting grind size wasn’t very intuitive. The same can’t be said for this grinder. Even though a lot of it is plastic, and that may account for the lower price point, the grind adjustment is easy, grinding itself is smooth, and the main parts of the burr seem to be of good quality. I also really like the glass fill container which empties easily without the aforementioned static issue. Time will tell regarding durability but I only plan to use it on the weekends and will stick with my regular electric (gasp) blade grinder during the week.

    Compact & Mighty!

I purchased the version with the steel burrs to grind beans for 2 to 6 cups of coffee. I love the dial option for fine to course grinds, which accommodates all brew options (pour-over, drip, perculator, espresso, etc.). It has a great grind consistency and is easy to use.
