This is a good pick. Pick this one

So far I love it. It looks good. It works good. Great machine for a beginner. They really tried to make it newbieproof. You can get a pretty good cup of espresso with these machines, and I’ve seen a lot of people spend a ton of money on bigger more expensive machines, and make some really sour or bitter coffee. I’d absolutely recommend this machine. I spent days researching, and this one was recommended a lot by the experts.

    Dedica Maestro is Magnificent!

The Dedica Maestro Plus is super compact and lightweight, compared to some of the larger espresso machines that take up a lot of counter space. This sleek machine also comes with a quick start guide and there are many tutorials on Delonghi.com to get you started, especially if this is your first espresso machine. I was happy to see that this comes with single and double wall filter baskets, single for those expert, or more seasoned baristas and the double baskets which are perfect for beginners and when using pre-ground coffee. I did appreciate the tip to warm up your cups before making your drinks. I let some hot water sit in my cup for about 30-45 seconds prior to making my latte and it kept my drink at the desired temperature. Now the really good stuff… this device also has a top compartment to store your accessories and an auto steam wand with 3 preset milk temperatures and 3 selections for desired milk texture (microfoam, fine, and dense textures) so you can get creative with the steamed milk in your espresso beverages. The milk comes out sweet, light, and frothy. It also has a removable water tank and the compact design makes for easy clean up.This is my first espresso machine, and I could not be more pleased with the quality and beverage outcomes! This will save me a lot of money frequenting the coffee shops! I am excited to continue to craft different drinks and show off my new barista skills when we have company over and for the holidays. Well done De’longhi!

    Great Tasting Espresso At Home

A little history first. I was using another machine I purchased for around $100. It served me well enough but the espresso never seemed to taste as good as I could buy at a shop. I kept using it out of convenience. Using the Dedica Maestro Plus has proven to me it is possible to make great quality espresso at home. The box includes everything you need except a grinder. I already have a grinder so I was ready to go. The instruction state you could use pre ground beans so even if you don’t have a grinder you are all set. The instructions included are very clear and when followed you will be able to make a great shot, or two, of espresso. I can also adjust the size of each shot so all I have to do is hit the double shot button and the espresso will stop where I programmed it. This is a major plus over my other machine where I had to watch it so I can turn it off. The milk frother is also easy to use. I tried it using the automatic setting with the included metal milk pitcher. The milk came out perfectly steamed with a froth on top. This was used to make a cappuccino. I’m not an artist but there is a setting to get the right consistency for art work. There are three temperature setting for the espresso and the milk. I tried all three. I prefer the lowest setting for espresso and the middle temp for the milk. The Maestro Plus is also the first time I had ‘pucks’ that weren’t wet and runny. I would highly recommend this machine to anyone looking to get into espresso and espresso drinks. I have been extremely satisfied with my drink results but I do admit I could still learn more on how to prepare more drinks. I would absolutely purchase again. The Maestro Plus is a great espresso maker.

    Great Tasting Espresso Fast!

My older De’Longhi Espresso Bar Pump machine decided its time on my countertop had ended, so I upgraded to the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus machine. I couldn’t be happier with my purchase. So far, this is where the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus has stood out above other machines:Simple Interface: The De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus has a simple, user-friendly interface with easy-to-use controls, making it a great machine for both beginner and experienced espresso drinkers. The many buttons and easy-to-turn dials are well-placed and responsive, allowing for precise customization of one and two shots of espresso.Design: The silver metal brushed stainless steel finish gives the machine a sleek and modern look that complements my other countertop appliances. Its small and compact size makes it perfect for having its own space on the countertop without sacrificing other appliances.Maintenance: Cleaning and maintenance of the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus has been easy compared to the prior machine. The steam wand automatically purges after each use, and the removable drip tray and water tank make it easy to keep the machine clean and well-maintained. It is also top-shelf dishwasher safe.Heating Times: With its innovative heating system, the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus reaches the perfect brewing temperature in just 3 seconds every time, allowing me to enjoy my favorite espresso drinks without the wait!Consistency: One of the best points of the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus is its ability to consistently deliver high-quality espresso with every cup. The heating and temperature function of this machine ensures the perfect temp and flavor, while the automatic steam wand creates a velvety micro-foam for perfect lattes and cappuccinos every time. I am a big fan of consistency and that is something I know I will get with every cup of espresso from the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus.I highly recommend the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus machine to anyone who is looking for great-tasting espresso fast!

    Super Novice

To say I am a novice coffee maker is an understatement. I started off my coffee journey making coffee in a mason jar overnight and turned to instant coffee when life got too busy. I have never made a cup of coffee in a coffee maker, let alone used an espresso machine. When I opened the box of the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus, I was slightly intimidated. So many pieces, so many buttons! I gave the user guide a quick overview and got to work. This machine is so much easier to use than I thought it would be. I was a little nervous about locking in the autofilter into place at first, but it is a perfect fit. My self ground coffee must be just right, because the drip I get is beautiful. The espresso is so smooth and not even the slightest bit bitter. The steamer takes a little while to get going, and it is a little noisy, but it heats up my almond milk perfectly. It is fun trying my hand at making Latte Art as well. Being able to adjust the amount of foam with the push of a button gives you the ability to create fun patterns on top of your cup of espresso. The size of the machine is perfect for my small counter top. The water tank is easy to refill and remove for cleaning. The indicator light on top that alerts you when teh water level is low is very helpful. The only very slight issue I have had with the machine is trying to pull the rubber gasket out of the double lined filter after removing the coffee grounds. I have found the best way to do this is by rinsing out any grounds, completely drying the rubber gasket and my hands, and then it is easy to pull out. This espresso maker is for making a drink to slow down and enjoy. It brews a delicious cup of smooth, lazy Sunday morning coffee.

    Easy to use espresso machine

I have used the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus for about 3 months, after replacing an older espresso machine. The machine comes with 4 baskets, 2 that are pressurized, and 2 that are not. Each type has both a single and double shot basket. I have only used the non-pressurized baskets – they do require a little more effort and experimenting to get the grind size correct, but they are easier to clean than the pressurized baskets. One thing to be aware of with this machine is there is no method to dispense hot water; the steam wand only does steam. If you only do espresso, and milk based drinks, this is not a problem. If you make Americanos, then this could be a problem. What I do is just put water in the frothing pitcher, set the temperature to high, and use the steam wand to create hot water. It works fine. (If I need a lot of hot water, I use an electric kettle.)The steam wand offers various settings for foam, etc, when using milk, and it works reasonably well. The self flushing feature of the steam wand is also nice. You can also use the steam wand manually, if you are really picky about the consistency of your steamed milk.On the whole, it’s a nice machine. It can handle reasonably tall coffee mugs (but probably not travel mugs), and also espresso cups with an included attachment.

    A Great Intermediate Espresso Machine!

Making great espresso drinks is definitely a journey with a learning curve. That said, I’m just getting started but knew what I wanted in a machine that I could grow in to and the De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus delivers. I’ll jump into it:- Build Quality & Design: Sleek, sturdy, and doesn’t take up much counter space at all. While some of the tools that you get in the box are on the cheaper side, the portafilter, baskets, tamper, and milk pitcher are solid and great to learn on. You can pull some good shots right out of the box that are as good and potentially better than what you’d get at a coffee shop. The machine is weighty, the buttons are crisp and tactile, and overall I do think this will last years to come with no issues.- Features: The thermoblock has you ready to go in about 30 seconds. Even quicker if you leave it on in standby mode. You can brew at 3 different temps to accommodate different roasts. While there are default settings for single and double shots, you’re able to program the volume of water for each to have the coffee to water ratio of your liking (you’ll need a good scale to get this right). The automatic milk frother works well, and I think serves its purpose for those who just want foam and aren’t too worried about coffee shop level microfoam. That said, you can achieve a silky microfoam steaming manually, but I’m still working on it. The included double-walled baskets are best for pre-ground coffee that might not be as fresh because they do a good job at creating “crema”.- Disclaimers: If you only plan on using pre-ground coffee, then you can certainly get by with what’s in the box and not having to purchase extra accessories. If you want to use fresh, whole bean coffee and pull shots that have depth, different flavor profiles, actual crema, and compete with your favorite coffee shop, you’ll need a good burr grinder and a scale to weigh out your beans and shots. That means spending more money, but can always be spaced out when you’re ready to upgrade and take on the hobby.- Bottom Line: The De’Longhi Dedica Maestro Plus, while a bit pricey, has features that make brewing good espresso drinks easy, and great espresso drinks possible and the price can be justified for that reason. If you want to pick your own grinder, opt for this vs. the La Specialista. I’m happy with the purchase and look forward to many delicious drinks to come!

    Works great!

I love the milk steamer! The coffee is expressed nicely with a good temperature. It’s so quick and easy in the morning and so much quieter than my old one. I think it’s a great product for the money. I’m thinking of getting another one for my motor home.

    Barista experience at home

De’Longhi EC900M – A Beautiful and Capable Home Espresso MachineI purchased the De’Longhi EC900M on Amazon, and it has exceeded my expectations. Its minimalist and elegant design blends seamlessly into any kitchen, making it as stylish as it is functional. This machine truly brings the barista experience home, offering very good espresso extraction with rich flavors and a nice crema. It’s also easy to use and maintain, making it a great choice for both beginners and intermediate users looking to improve their coffee-making skills. The steam wand, while a bit tricky at first, produces a good microfoam texture—perfect for latte art once you get the hang of it. It does take a little longer than some higher-end machines, but the results are worth it.Overall, the EC900M is a fantastic entry-level option with enough features to satisfy those wanting to refine their espresso-making technique. Highly recommended!

    Great Coffee Machine!

Great coffee maker! Especially if you like to experiment with different settings….but it’s not for those who just want to press one button and get a drink. This is more for enthusiasts ;)Once you figure it out, you’ll have a great cup of coffee!
