Really Good Ultra-Automated Coffee Center
This is a very good ultra-automated coffee machine. I’m really impressed with what it can do to make a cup of coffee. It’s fairly quiet for what it’s doing, but you’re probably now going to want to make yourself a cup of coffee if you’ve just gotten the baby to sleep in the next room.This machine is new as of late 2024, but the De’Longhi Dinamica Plus Connected model has been around for a while, so you may run into YouTube videos and the like that are reviewing the older and more expensive ‘connected’ version. As far as I can tell, there are 3 main differences between this model and the ‘connected’ version – you can operate the machine from your phone in addition to the built-in screen, the milk frother is double-wall insulated on the ‘connected’ version, and the connected version is made in Italy whereas this one is made in Romania where De’Longhi’s less expensive machines are manufactured.This is a really nice machine and it’s pretty easy to use if you are okay keeping things simple – you fill the water tank, you add some beans, maybe you put some milk in it, then you select a coffee drink from a screen with pictures, tap the one you want and wait for your drink. It starts getting more complicated when you want to customize how each drink is made – like how strong or how much water – and if you want to have a different preference for different people. There are only so many brain cells that I want to dedicate to a cup of coffee, and for the most part, customizing my coffee experience is just too complex on this machine.I do love most of this machine, but here are a few things I wish they’d improve: • For selecting a drink, the UI is great, but most of the customization features are not intuitive • The machine does not make the coffee hot enough – yes I’ve got my personal preference for temp set to the highest available, but my regular coffee (basically an Americano) comes out at less than 170F. When I make several cups in a row, and/or make smaller drinks, then they come out hotter. • The water tank is too small – 5 days a week I just make a regular coffee – no milk, and I can make 5 cups before I need to take the water tank out and refill it.I’ve been using this machine for 2 months and in general, this machine has been reliable, easy to use for simple drinks, and easy to keep clean. I’d recommend it wholeheartedly if it only made a cuppa coffee that was hot enough.

Love my new machine and all the coffee and espresso options! Easy to use and set up and the coffee is delicious. I am still learning all the features! My last Delonghi was over 20 years old so I am hoping this one holds up close to as well! I can make my own custom drinks and not go to Starbucks! The machine is programmable so you get the perfect cup size.

Great coffee at the touch your finger
After going to Italy and then France years ago my wife and I just had to have great espresso like the coffee we had in Europe. We since have had a fully automatic espresso machine and more recently a Nespresso machine. Obviously the automatic part is really important to us – no tamping or adjusting portafilters for us.We had forgotten what truly great espresso was like until we bought the Delonghi. This machine makes great coffee period. The strength and quality of drinks is highly adjustable to any taste as well as the volume. The variety of drinks that the machine will make with the tap of the touch screen is amazing. It is easy to maintain and lets you know when maintenance is needed. After researching fully automatic coffee machines for hours this is the one we selected and we are very happy. It is certainly not the cheapest machine but also not the most expensive. So far we feel it is worth the money.

Wonderful experience, far superior to the Philips Latte Go I had been using. Easy to use and clean. Easy to adjust size and strength, love the optionality via the menus. Looking forward to my coffee each day with this machine!

Love Our Morning Coffee!
Expensive? Yes! Worth it? We think so! We’ve talked about getting a real coffee machine for many years. Now we’ve done it! Enjoying our fancy coffees every single day. We use freshly roasted beans, coconut milk and stevia for our sweetener so the drinks are delicious but not full of calories.

Excellent but pricey
I am an avid coffee drinker and consume multiple hot and iced lattes each day. When this new multifunction espresso machine was available, I jumped on the chance to review it. Simply, it is excellent. Let me start off with the single con, and it is a big one: value. While there is simply nothing wrong with this machine, I rated it at four rather than five stars because it is impossible to say this is a good value. Yes, you can calculate the savings by using this machine in lieu of ordering coffee drinks outside of the home and this machine can cover its cost in approximately six months. That being said, there are competing products from other known brands that do the same thing at a more reasonable price point. Now that we’ve covered the only problem with this product, we can move on to the positives. Great form factor, well designed, and not too large. Grinds beans. Milk utility is excellent. They’re really is not anything missing in terms of function from this product that I would like. Personally, I do not have a need for the Bluetooth integration, but it is nice for those who want it.

Best investment I have made for myself
I love to drink expresso coffee. But I can’t get around very good anymore. I tried a Mika pot and liked the coffee it made. But when I purchased the Moka pot it only made 2 servings. I was wanting a lot more at one time. So, then I bought an manual expresso machine. That was a big mistake, I had to get the coffee grind just right and the to top that off I had to tamp the coffee grinds at the correct pressure. The manual expresso machine was returned because it never worked correctly ever since I took it out of the box.I purchased this automatic expresso coffee machine and so far I’m very impressed! I pour the coffee beans in the top of the machine and it does it all!!! I don’t have to do anything else. So far I have only made items with just the coffee. But I plan on reading more in the instruction book and figuring out the cappuccino and other milk type drinks. This machine has so many other drinks to choose from that it will fix for you.The drip tray and used coffee grounds need dumped daily. It’s so easy to do and not messy at all. I rinse the machine after I get my drink and I don’t worry at all about it clogging up.I picked Starbucks expresso coffee beans to try in this machine. I was so amazed with the taste of the expresso that was made. I can taste the coffee long after I’m done. This machine does have a filter. The filter will last 3 months if you use it daily, but only 3 weeks if you don’t. So, I get coffee several times a day.The temperature of the coffee is nice and hot, but you have to allow it to heat up and flush the lines with hot water. If, it’s been setting on without brewing for a while all you need to do is do a manual hot water flush before you make your coffee.I know the expresso machine is on the pricey side, but it’s worth every penny. It will take me a few months to pay off. Initially, I felt uneasy about purchasing it, but not now. Best investment I have made for myself.
