So I am not a barista but I love good coffee and I’m tired of those coffee makers that just makes so so coffee. I got this today the instructions are on the screen they walk you through step by step on what to do. From the water hardness and just the whole setup is on the screen. I can’t get the code to go through to register the product so I’ll have to do that separately but oh my gosh I would give this 10 Stars if I could. I am 63 a woman that loves good coffee and I barely put any vanilla syrup in My Cup and I did the cappuccino mix, and used half and half and it came out with the perfect quality beyond my expectations!! This is fabulous and if you’re thinking about this definitely purchase and Amazon gives you payment plans to take advantage of if you want one of these because I am beyond excited now every morning I get to have a copy of my choice and when my son and daughter-in-law come over for Thanksgiving I can give her the coffee that she likes. I use very good coffee beans and this is just fabulousThank you so much DeLonghi you have made this woman a very happy woman

I’d been contemplating an automatic espresso machine for several years. I weighed all of the obvious factors, read (and watched) lots of reviews, and late in December this one ticked all of my boxes.When it arrived, I unpacked it immediately and placed it in the spot I’d designated. But when I looked at the enclosed instructions, I paused. It was intimidating.A day or two later, I got back to it. Surprise, once it was plugged in, the machine itself guided me through what I needed to do. (Later I learned that it would prompt me to add beans or water, to empty the waste, clean the carafe, and otherwise do whatever needed to be done.)Not only are there lots of preprogrammed options, it’s easy to make things up as I go along. For example, I can dispense hot water, brew tea, then dispense a latte into it. I’ve learned that I like doppio with frothed milk.In the beginning, I was using glass mugs I already owned, just to see the layers. But my drinks were cooling faster than I wanted them to, so I bought insulated ones. The machine came set to the highest temperature, prewarming one of the new mugs with hot water was all that I needed to be able to savor whatever I’d made for myself.

Easy to use and great coffee
I started with the Phillip’s 5500 but returned it because the machine was too complicated to use and clean plus the coffee was warm, not hot.I purchased De’Longhi because of the reviews on Amazon and YouTube and have had this machine for over a month. This is my review:1. Easy set up and maintenance – the display gives step by step instructions and tells you when it’s time to clean.2. Easy to use with touch screen and lots of options for drinks.3. Makes excellent coffees – vanilla almond milk latte with extra shot is my favorite.4. Definitely worth the price.The only downside is that, when I use the frother, the coffees could be hotter but I have seen this complaint with all of the machines from all of the manufacturers.

It’s pure magic!!!! It’s SUPER, SUPER easy to use and clean. It guides you through everything!!! It’s like having a Starbucks barista at home. It is very nice and we use it often each day. I LOVE IT !!! I will never go back to regular coffee making again!!! If I could give this more than 5 stars I would! Seriously!!!

Saving a fortune $7 at a time!!
Saves me from having to go to that place that shall not be named but starts with the letter S!! I absolutely love that I was able to customize my favorite drink to the proportions that I prefer and save it so now mornings are just a push of a button then back to my comfy spot.

Holy Cow I am in Expresso Heaven.
Not only did I save around $300.00 from the direct site, but this thing is amazing. Minimal assembly and you are ready. Please do a little research before you buy so you know what you have and understand this isn’t a “coffee” machine, but an expresso machine with a boiler system that has to output. I love the saved memory capability, and it fits those lower hanging cabinets too at only 14 inches high. Fresh ground every day is the way to go and well worth it. This baby is its own barista with all the varieties is capable of. Clean up is easy, fill up is easy. Run and get this thing if you know what you want.

Stopped working after 6 months, but was fixed at repair facility
Stopped working after approx 6 months. Machine was delivered to Delonghi repair facility and since then I have no new information about my machine since they are not answering me for a week now…Update:Okay, got the machine back from Delonghi repair facility and it’s now working again and seems like even faster than before 🙂 Machine was returned back in the same condition I sent it (no damage, no scratches found) and fixed, awesome!
