The coffee is delicious. There is a learning curve. We have been able to make good whole bean drinks, but the first brew with preground coffee every time is weak and cold. The second is great. Seeking info on this and will update my review is we can get it fixed!

This machine makes the most AMAZING cup of coffee! It’s smooth and full bodied. Absolutely delicious. We’ve been using Black Rifle coffee and it’s way better than most coffee shops. And for the complaints I’ve read about how difficult it is to clean, that’s nonsense. It takes 30 seconds to rinse out the containers and dump the grinds! Well worth it for the quality of the cup of coffee this machine produces.

Easy to set up, very long time to idle, kind’a tricky to find the right size to brew, for the full 40 oz take like three grinds and brews to finish, even to turn it off have to wait several minutes while doing an automatic cleaning cicle. But the important thing, the coffee is perfect, quite good temperature, perfect brew, takes all the flavor and aroma of the beans, so far the best machine we ever have, totally worth the quite expensive price

Makes my mornings that much better
LOUD! The clicks and clanks really surprised me as I did not expect it to be that loud but like all things, you will eventually get use to it and it does seem to be getting quieter bit by bit (not sure if its just me). Also using ground coffee can be a little bit messy on the inside and outside as not all the grounds will go into the funnel so you’ll eventually have to use a brush or something to clean it all up.Without a doubt, this goes best with fresh whole beans to get the best taste. The 3 different strength settings I can only assume change the ratio between water and coffee (couldn’t find any information about it with the instructions). There is without a doubt a difference between the settings and I ended up just leaving it on gold. One main concern is the beans that end up just being left out in the open if they don’t get grinded for your cup. Ideally I would just scoop the beans back and put it back into appropriate storage but the design makes it difficult to do that. What I found is every 4 oz of coffee will use about a scoop of the ground scoop that came with the machine, that way you can minimize the beans that are left out in the open (a little more or less depending on what strength setting you’re using). I use to use a pour over for my coffee but I eventually got to a point where I wanted it automated in the end lol my specialty coffee still taste really good with this and I’m more than content. Dumping the waste water and grounds is super simple. One thing I need to test is if it’s necessary to change the water temperature setting, It seems completely fine on setting 2 but some testing should be considered for best results.
