Gets the Job Done!
This is a stepless, espresso grinder at a more affordable price than other espresso grinders. I upgraded to this grinder after using the Breville Smart Grinder Pro and it made a world of difference. The grinds are so much less clumpy and my espresso shots are so much better with this grinder. I don’t think there is another stepless grinder in this price range that performs as well. Definitely recommend if you don’t want to break the bank but want a quality espresso grinder.

Best Grinder for its price
Had this grinder for about 6 months already. Was already looking at Seattle Coffee Gear for their Seette 270wi. BUT THANKFULLY they came out with the exclusive Eureka Notte Grinder. The other Mignon Grinders were a little out of my range for its price but what really attracted me to them was thier infinite grind setting. The notte has a very nice adjustment nob thats not super loose but stiff enough to retain its setting and make minute adjustments to grind. Perfect for espresso and also has the capabilities to do larger grinds if needed. Don’t really care too much about noise level in my situation so thats not a problem for me. Granular size as well is very consistent. Overall the build quality is amazing as well and feels like it will last me for years on end.

Fantastic Italian quality
Excellent grinder. It’s easy to dial in, there are no whistles and bells to break down. The grinder is built like a tank. It grinds constantly every time. I weigh tare my scale with my portafilter, then weigh the grounds as I grind. I’ve gotten pretty good at eyeballing the finished level, and I usually come within a gram or two, plus or minus as I weigh.The grinder is easily user maintained. If you do the math, based off of my daily usage, I will not need to replace the burr set for at least 20plus years.I’ve done a great deal of research on espresso grinders, this Eureka Mignon Notte or Manuale as it’s known outside of the U.S. in my opinion is the best espresso grinder available in this price range. It pairs very nicely with my Gaggia Classic Pro.One final word of advise, if you are looking for a grinder to accommodate different brew methods, you will pull your hair out going from one end of the spectrum to another. However, if you’re only interested in grinding for espresso, this grinder is more than capable. It is a great choice.

Perfect for Espresso on GCP
I was worried about what I was going to get at this price point but I am so extremely pleased. These are the things I really liked:1. Weight – this thing is sturdy. Made out of really premium feeling materials in it’s base.2. Noise level – while it does not have sound dampening, it is still remarkably quiet in comparison to other grinders I’ve tried.3. Little Grounds Retention – I weigh my coffee before and after grinding. So far I’ve gotten all of the coffee out that I put in which is amazing!4. Grind Levels – I use this exclusively for espresso. It easily gets to that nice espresso fineness. It’s also incredibly easy to adjust and go finer or coarser.The only issue I have with this is the mouth where the coffee comes out. If you are using your portafilter to hit the grind button then the coffee grounds are going to pile up and spill over the back of the basket unless you stop and move the grounds around. This machine makes a dosing funnel necessary.

Brilliant starter espresso grinder
Pretty much what it looks like on the box: It’s a reliable grinder suited for grinding espresso. The activation is just a button on the front that you push with the portafilter or your funnel to start grinding. The adjustment is a small knob on top, and I would like to see this have the ability to adjust more precisely, but for the price in this market, it works well, just have to realize that small adjustments make big changes to your coffee.The noise level can change a bit, because the lid and hopper will sometimes rattle while the motor is spinning, which is incredibly noisy. However, placing a hand on top of the machine while using it silences this, and means that once empty the burrs go back to that whisper quiet that’s advertised.Cleaning is a bit tricky with the base hopper, lot of retention of coffee grounds visibly in the machine. However, there is an aftermarket bellows mod available that you can replace the hopper with (most users will be single dose grinding anyway) and that can be used to blow the excess grounds out. I haven’t used it personally, as I haven’t had an issue with the taste of the coffee coming out, but it is something to consider.Overall, for the price point as an espresso grinder, solid 5/5. Does everything you need it to do to make really good espresso.

The best espresso grinder for the money that I have found
I had a grinder for espresso already, that cost more than this one, but I felt there was more to be had. I was wasting far too much from retention and I could really never quite dial in the grind the way I wanted. I saw other grinders on Youtube and they were able to quickly pump out a mound of espresso without clumping, and mine were always clumped.I wanted to eliminate these problems. A big plus for me is the gears are available at a very reasonable price and fairly easy to replace from what I’ve seen (I ordered a set for when the first ones wear down). Also I love the fact that it’s made in Italy – I’ve bought enough stuff from China that makes it a couple of months then it’s into the landfill and you are searching for another piece of junk that won’t last to replace it with, and I’m fed up with that like most folks are. And the price is honestly as cheap as you are going to find a true espresso grinder for.I bought a single doser which replaces the hopper and lets you use a bellows to send air to get all the grounds out. I was doubtful it could work but it does, surprisingly. (I thought it wouldn’t generate enough air pressure to work). So you can mod it this way pretty easily, and I bought an aftermarket spout to fit on the opening too.How does it work? I have to say – great. First, there is noise. It’s nothing close to quiet but that is part of the reason for the low price point and I can accept that as the noise isn’t really loud, but there are quieter machines out there so if this is an issue for you, you might want to look at those. The performance is awesome – it quickly grinds into a mound in my portafilter without clumps. I single dose and use the bellows to blow the little retention out. I really could not be happier with that. It’s exactly what I was looking for. And the price point is super low. I can’t believe you can get a nice made in Italy grinder like this for this amount of money – the garbage made in China that will only make it a few months usually costs way more.I highly recommend this grinder if you can deal with a bit of noise and are looking for a lasting, well performing quality grinder for your espresso.

Excellent burr grinder for espresso
Like many other coffee aficionados who have been inspired to up their espresso game during the pandemic, I recently decided to purchase a new burr grinder. I had three criteria in mind: 1) specifically designed for making espresso, 2) easy to use, and 3) available at a reasonable price point. The Eureka Notte fit the bill. In short, after about a month of several times daily use, I can report that the Notte is very simple to operate and produces grinds that are perfect for espresso. Besides consistent and infinitely adjustable fineness of grinds, the machine also boasts a small footprint and solid Italian design. It is no louder than other burr grinders I have owned in the past. The minor issues I have are the less-than-durable construction of the hopper and portafilter holder, but perhaps that is to be expected at this price point. I actually don’t bother with the portafilter holder. I just hold down the dispenser button with my thumb and let the grinds fall directly into the pre-tared portafilter while moving it around for an even spread, then weighing.As others have pointed out, there are machines out there with fancy bells and whistles that automate this process, but you will pay a much fancier price. If you don’t mind the ritual of doing everything manually to get high quality espresso grinds and don’t want to take out a home equity loan for a higher end Eureka or Ceado, I think this machine will serve well for many years. I would rate it 4.5 stars.

Solid thing
This grinder is a tank. Working flawless since I purchased and have a good grind level adjustment to various types of bins. Plastic cup is a bit flimsy but it’s ok. Arrived with broken lid and I asked seller to send me a replacement lid and they sent soon after. With breville bambino plus makes a great couple for a nice espresso based drink.

Great Little Entry Level Espresso Grinder
I just purchased the Eureka Mignon Notte Espresso Grinder, and I’m honestly really impressed with it! As someone who’s just getting into making espresso at home, I wanted a grinder that was easy to use and would help me make better espresso and lates. This grinder definitely delivers.It’s affordable and just works really well for someone like me who’s still learning the ropes of espresso.
