    Coffee percolator works great

Reviewers weren’t kidding! This is a great coffee maker to avoid mold or bacteria hiding in other machines. Doesn’t take long to perk! Love the keep warm feature as I drink my coffee slow & enjoy a second cup. Recommended to my daughter as well!

    FINALLY- A SAFE OPTION!!!

Finally found a percolator that is totally stainless steel and no plastic finial! Trying to find a coffee maker with no microplastics and aluminum has been a challenge, but this is the one to definitely buy! The percolator well has no aluminum nut in the bottom of the pot and there is no plastic finial on the lid as some other brands have. The only plastic is the knob on top, bottom, and the handle. Percolates quickly, a full pot in approx. 10 minutes. HACK- we are used to a automatic drip with a timer, so we plugged the percolator into an automatic timer! Now we have the coffee ready when we get up still!!!

    Great Percolator!

My daughter and I love a percolator coffee pot and this one is really good:) We had a Cuisinart a few years ago but the top broke off and we went back to a regular Mr Coffee. Now, we have come back to a percolator again and you can not beat the taste. Hands down:) Highly recommend.

WISH I SWITCHED TO A STAINLESS STEEL PERCULATOR SOONER! THIS ONE IS A GEM!

Worked perfectly from day one.  Stainless steel is a much, much better option for beverage brewing coffee than plastic and I just wish we made the switch to a stainless steel percolator sooner.  Timed the brewing cycle for 12 cups and it’s 11 minutes.  Makes a nicely brewed cup of coffee.  We use Folgers mixed with various dark roasted organic coffees and it tastes great.  Optimal temp right outta the pot, too.  We’ve used this every day for almost two months now and we haven’t a negative comment to make.  Very pleased.  Do have a suggestion though … please make it in a 14 cup capacity because we have a big family.

    Great Electric Percolator!

I’ve been using drip type coffee makers for years and have even tried a couple of K cup coffee makers. But, with all the news around plastics in our food and drinking water, I wanted to make the change to stainless steel. I have a stove top percolator that I love, but it takes me close to 30 minutes to prep, brew and clean up. I was looking for something that would give me the flavor of percolated coffee, but not require all of the monitoring of the brewing process for a stove top percolator. After researching all of the electric percolators on the market, I decided to go with the Farberware 8 cup for my morning brew. After two brews, I think I made the right choice. The Farberware 8 cup percolator is simple to use and brewed the perfect cup of coffee for me. The design is straightforward and setup is easy. Just add the desired amount of coffee into the basket, fill the percolator with water, place the basket and tube into the percolator, place the lid on top and plug it in. In under 10 minutes, I had a perfect cup of coffee.I know that some reviews complained that it produced a weak cup of coffee. Not so in my case. The coffee was strong and flavorful. Adding more or less coffee grounds to the basket is what adjusts the strength. Some reviews complained that the cord is short. With the electric outlet at the back of the counter, I am able to place the percolator all the way to the edge of the countertop without any concern about the length of the cord. Some complaints were about not seeing the progress of the brewing process as it doesn’t have a glass top. As this machine is all automatic and brews quickly, there really is no need for the sight glass. Just listen to the sound and you will know when the brewing process has completed. I’ve left the percolator plugged in for up to two hours and the coffee stayed nice and hot.If you’re in the market for a simple and affordable electric percolator, this machine will be a great choice for you!

    Non-toxic, delicious cup of coffee

I bought this percolator after learning about microplastics and how they leach toxic chemicals into water, food, and air, especially when in contact with hot liquid. The hot water comes in contact with the metal only, making it safe and delicious cup of coffee. The percolator makes a smooth, delicious cup of coffee. Far superior to a standard coffee pot or K-Cup coffee maker.Additionally, it’s easy to use. Assembly is a snap, and it takes approximately 5 minutes to percolate. Once it’s done, it switches to a warm setting, keeping the coffee hot as long as you need. Clean up takes about 4-5 minutes, and I let it air dry on our drying mat.The marks for the number of cups are on the inside, which are easy to see. I read a few reviews complaining about this feature, but it’s plainly visible inside the pot as you fill it with water. I also read a few critiques about the pot not signaling when it’s done brewing, but you can hear it switch from percolating to warming. One important feature to note, the coffee comes out very hot. Hotter than a standard coffee pot, so I pour a full cup immediately after percolation is complete and let it sit for 3-4 minutes to cool a bit. This coffee pot is one of the best I’ve used, and it’s toxin-free! The price is comparable to a good, standard coffee pot, and I highly recommend it for a smooth, delicious, toxin-free cup of coffee.

    Love This Percolator

I love this percolator! Makes delicious coffee fast and is very easy to use. Stays hot. No plastic touches the coffee at any step of the brewing process. Everything involved in the actual brewing is stainless steel. That is what I wanted, as I try to cut down on plastic usage (The knob, handle and base are plastic but they do not have any contact with the coffee.). It’s very easy to clean and you can pour the freshly brewed coffee without having to remove the basket containing the used grounds. There’s no automatic shut-off, so you’ll need to remember to unplug.

    Great coffee maker!!

I am quite happy with this percolator. It makes excellent coffee, and it brews quickly! The only problem is that you will always have grounds in your coffee. My solution was to use a coffee filter holder that goes over the top of the cup. I pour the coffee through the filter, and this works perfectly for me. Cleanup is much easier this way.

Make a great cup of coffee

I love an electric coffee pot, this one did not disappoint me. The only thing that I would change is the ability to see when it’s done brewing. I was replacing one that I found in a thrift store. Someone mentioned that the lid was difficult to remove, it’s not. Instead of pulling straight up, pull-up and to one side

Percolated coffee tastes so much better!

OMG, I’d forgotten how much better percolator brewed coffee tastes than drip / pod brewed coffee! Percolators really extract the full flavor from ground coffee. Less plastic waste and less expensive as well! The flat disk paper filters work well if brewing an espresso grind ((like Bustello). Thinking the K-cup machine turns into a specialty device for a custom flavored option when company comes over and this one is the real go-to device.
