FINALLY: a frothing system that works and gets it right every time!
The biggest problem I’ve had with other home espresso machines is that they just don’t froth the milk properly. Not with this machine! I made 3 cappuccinos in a period of 8 hours – one with regular fresh ground beans in a grinder set to “fine (espresso) grind” and 2 with decaf that I measured and passed through the grinder to get the espresso size grind of coffee. For frothing fill the milk jug to about halfway and then lower the steam wand to a depth of 2-3 cm (it would have been nice if they had marked the 3cm line on the wand itself but I discovered that 3cm is basically almost halfway up the frothing tube), hold the base of jug on the palm of your left hand and the handle with your right hand, slightly angle it to the right and position the steam wand off-center and closer to the left wall of the jug & turn on the steam dial and hey presto: you can see the milk rotating and thickening and a layer of small bubbles forming, rising up the wall of the milk jug, resulting in the perfect froth! It works EVERY time!!!! You can tell when the milk has reached the right temperature because your left hand underneath the jug will get hot. With a bit of practice you will be able to adjust the thickness of the froth to your own personal liking for both lattes and cappuccinos, and you will be glad you didn’t spend over $1000 for a fully automatic machine. This semi-automatic machine really is THAT good, and I’ve been making cappuccinos for over 25 years. WOW (I call it “semi automatic” because you still have to froth the milk yourself whereas true automatic machines do that for you). Unlike so many other machines the accompanying manual actually makes it very easy to understand how to use every function of the machine, including how to froth with easy, step by step instructions! Simply put, the BEST home espresso/cappuccino/latte system I have EVER used! One extra note: I use whole milk because the fat content in the milk makes it easier to froth than 2%,1% or fat free milk.

Buy this gem of an espresso maker – great design, extremely affordable, and makes a great espresso.
I learned about this espresso maker several years ago in a chefs’ blog I follow. The price was very attractive before prime days and I finally ordered it. Best decision ever, it has a very attractive stainless steel design and makes an outstanding espresso. The buttons are easily accessible and you can make one or two shots which is wonderful. The steam function is excellent and I’m making wonderful macchiatos, lattes and cappuccinos. l am using Lavazza Super whole bean coffee. If you don’t want to spend upwards of $400, buy this immediately. You won’t be sorry.

Fast, quiet and a breeze to use!
Awesome little espresso machine that’s super quiet and makes excellent coffee! I was really surprised with how easy this espresso maker is to use. The water tank is a decent size and it only takes about a minute to heat up the water. Highly recommend this coffee maker as I look forward to making coffee in the morning again!

Excellent expresso machine.
I realize that this is not the primo espresso machine. However, I have never been able to make such a fine espresso or cappuccino at home like this before. Something amazing about the filter basket is amazing as it is not just a straight through shot. Not sure how they do it but it works fantastic. The crema is perfect, the brew temp is awesome. I am absolutely thrilled that I can make such awesome drinks with a machine that does not cost $400+. And the milk frothier/steam wand is an amazing design that works with the particular system to easily froth milk perfectly.

Great Machine at a Great Price
Always been an espresso fanatic but could never bring myself to spend some of the amounts of money that high-end units ask. Good fortune smiled upon me when I found this wonderful product. Sturdy stainless steel construction that fit’s nicely on the counter top and lends a classy look to the other small appliances one collects. It truly pressurizes to its advertised 20 PSI with a handy pressure gauge mounted to the front. Brews quickly and efficiently yielding a delicious cup every time. One feature not seen on other brands is the ability to adjust the quantity brewed. Prefer a larger “shot”? Easy to follow instructions for customizing the amount brewed are included. Great Job Gevi!

Opinions
Alright I read reviews for days on espresso machines and which one to get.. I only ready 1-2 star reviews and so many people stated it just stopped working and after my first time using the steam wand it stopped working… until I figured out you need to release what is left in the wand to continue making espresso.. 🤦🏽♀️ I felt kinda stupid because obviously I did not read the handbook and just wing these things.I have ad a cheap plastic espresso machine before this one and it sucked. Pressures were different every time I think I got 1 good one out of 20 but this machine… blows me away. Pressures for the most part are always the same. The taste is great! I wonder in some people’s reviews if they have their beans grounded correctly or what kind of grounds they use and if they pack the grounds correctly. There are so many variables to reviews on something like this that you just have to try it for yourself. Personally I love this machine and definitely worth it when it’s on sale and a broke girl. I would choose my at home coffee over any coffee shop any day.

Beginner friendly, great price
LOVE LOVE LOVE!!I was getting sick of using the k pod and other drip coffee machines and can’t afford 8 dollar coffees everyday either! I had never made espresso before this, but figured it out pretty quickly and it’s just as good as from a coffee stand! I had to buy a little steaming pitcher separately but everything else came with it. Super happy with purchase.

BUY IT!!! Amazing machine at an amazing price!
LOVE my machine!!! I am a first time espresso machine owner and this couldn’t be easier to use. Heats and is ready to work in seconds. Makes delicious espresso which is why I don’t miss buying one from Starbucks every morning! I have absolutely NOTHING bad to say about it! It’s slim too so it fits well in the counter. I get up early before everyone else and was worried it would be loud and wake everyone but it’s actually pretty dang quiet. LOVE THIS MACHINE!!

Great value & amazing frother
I’ve been using this machine every day twice a day for 3 weeks now and I swear it gets better the more I use it. I definitely had to learn the machine when it came to frothing because I couldn’t froth correctly at first and thought it was the machine but it was me because now it froths amazinggggg. You have to keep it diagonal and fully submerge while moving the tin around then when it gets hot enough froth the top more and it’s perfect. I’m very happy with my machine and I think for the price it’s a great value.
