Good Product, Very Slow Shipping Process
So, like the other reviews state, this product does make a very good pot of coffee. The water spigot directs the water to the center of the coffee grounds, not to the side; it also does not hold the basket downward, so the connection to the pot lid is maintained. Therefore, the water flows through the filter without it overflowing the basket, and making the grounds flow into the coffee just brewed. Water also did not turn into steam and escape the maker, so whatever cups you put in water for, that is the amount that ended up in the pot.The only issue was, why did it take one month for the product to travel from California to Oregon and finally my home in Utah? At first it stated a 2 day delivery, then switched to one week, then 2 weeks, and then one month. Ridiculous! So, if you want this maker, make sure to have the patience to wait for it.

produces magic bean water
This coffee is a good value compared to older brands. The capacity is nice. It’s easy to use and easy to clean , in the fact that the top of the glass coffee pot is a design which makes it easier to clean than some other popular brands. I have not had any issues with filters turning or getting coffee grounds in the coffee. It’s a great little coffee pot, nothing fancy, but gives me my magic bean water every morning.

Compact, regular capacity home coffee maker at a good price!
Competitively priced economy coffee maker with just the basics: 12 cup capacity, removable filter basket, hot plate, and on/off switch. I don’t need bells and whistles for my coffee maker as I have been using a Proctor Silex coffee maker from the 80’s and it finally started leaking. The Gourmia coffee maker is compact in size with the on/off switch/light on the right side. It’s pretty quick brewing and the coffee is hot. The carafe has a flip-up lid and is nicely balance and comfortable in my hand. The only negative perception is that the carafe glass is thin – hopefully the carafe lasts a long time.

Not just good but great
Really really good machine. It’s makes magic water. It’s great cause it’s stupid simple. Everyone likes simple. I can’t say anything bad about this product in any such way. Gourmia products so far have never given me any aggravation, which is good.

My coffee is actually hot
I got tired of reheating my coffee after making it with the now traditional pods, so I bought this. The other thing I love is that I can make my coffee as strong or as weak as I want to. The whole coffee pot takes up as much space as my Keurig took up, but never leaks! I’m able to easily fill as much water as I want and even though I have to go back to buying coffee filters, this has been so much easier and better to use. When my coffee is done brewing, it not only tastes absolutely amazing, but this coffee pot will keep my coffee nice and hot in the carafe. All of this is so easy to clean too! For as much as I was spending on pods and occasionally dealing with leaks, this coffee maker has not only been making my life better but has just been overall worth it! It works just as it should, brews my coffee, I can choose the strength and there has been 0 leaks! HUGE VALUE!!! I am never going back to pods!

Convenient coffee that is easy to clean and store
I’m not a big coffee drinker but I do have friends and family that visit and to have a coffee especially if they’ve stayed the night. I knew not to get a pod machine based on their preferences for fresh ground. I wanted a smaller coffee maker that didn’t look like my countertop was also a coffee shop. But I didn’t want one like at the Airbnb that I stayed at. That thing only brewed 1-2 cups at a time and took almost 10 mins to do it. This is perfect. It’s a great size to make enough coffee for the entire family when they visit. It brews up quickly and stays warm on the hot plate. The carafe and grounds cup can completely come out and be fully washed. That’s important since I’m not using it every day and want to make sure that it’s not sitting there growing bacteria between uses. It’s not fancy, but it is efficient. It’s a basic coffee maker that works exactly as it should without the sticker shock.

Easy and effective without the higher price of other coffee makers
I was surprised how easy and well this coffee maker makes excellent coffee and while it just makes coffee with just an on and off button with no other options like a timing and auto switch off, it works very well. I fill the maker with 6 cups of water and I get 6 cups of coffee. And while I have to turn off the maker rather than an auto switch off, it keeps my coffee hot until I turn it off. No problem. Affordable and efficient. After I finish the coffee and clean the pot and the basket (I use a reusable filter rather than paper filters, which is more cost-effective and environmentally friendly), I also put fresh cold 5 cups of water through a brew cycle to wash out any coffee residue, which I feel will prevent a lot of calcification buildup.I highly recommend this coffee maker if you want a good cup of coffee without the higher price of the other makers with all the auto buttons, which I replaced with this new coffee maker.
