Final Verdict

The Keurig K-Mini Single Serve Coffee Maker is a smart, no-fuss solution for anyone needing quick, personal-sized coffee without clutter. It excels in portability, simplicity, and aesthetics, making it perfect for small apartments, dorms, or even travel setups.

However, it’s not ideal for households needing multiple back-to-back brews or those wanting advanced settings like temperature or strength control. The single-cup reservoir can feel like a chore for frequent use, and some reports highlight limited durability if misused (like running it dry).

That said, for under $80, it’s a solid buy for solo coffee lovers who prioritize style, ease, and convenience.

👎 Not Ideal For: Large households, back-to-back brewing, advanced customization.

Fast, no splatter! Great little machine!

Several reviews mention that this coffee maker takes a long time — up to two minutes — to brew a cup of coffee. Some reviews suggest you go do a little something else while you wait. Other reviews say (and a few show) that the machine splatters water everywhere. Some say it’s loud.I’m not saying that those scenarios are not true. Some pictures even prove it. In fact, I was a little hesitant to hit the “order” button for fear of these issues. However, none of these issues has been a problem since this little machine was plugged in at our newly outfitted dining room coffee bar. This machine brews INSTANTLY, as fast as our big Keurig in the kitchen. And NO SPLATTER. Clean as a whistle. And noise? Well, I don’t remember the noise, which means it’s the same as or even quieter than our big kitchen Keurig.I was also pleasantly surprised to feel how heavy the machine is. I don’t know what I was expecting. Maybe something that was as lightweight (disturbingly so) as our new, very basic toaster. But this thing has sufficient heft to it, looks great on our coffee bar cabinet, makes coffee in a snap, and I think it even has an auto-off after brewing. (I say “I think” because I don’t remember turning the machine off after brewing my cup and when I returned to the machine a few minutes later, the “on” button wasn’t lit.)This little machine just makes my day, one cup at a time. I love it!UPDATE: The machine failed this morning. I’ve only had the coffee brewer since September 19, 2024, which as of this writing, is only a month and a half.I brew one cup per day in the machine, so I would say it gets light use. This morning, distracted, I forgot to put water in the reservoir prior to hitting Brew. As soon as I realized that there was no water, I lifted the lid to stop the brewing, put water in the reservoir and hit Brew. It failed to brew and instead, turned off. I tried a new K-Cup and started over. Still turned off. I unplugged the machine. It still turned off and would not brew.I called Keurig customer service to troubleshoot, figuring there is an easy solution to this issue. After a few questions, they determined that the machine is faulty and said to return it.The upshot: it worked well up until it didn’t. Maybe it was operator error, as I forgot to put water in the reservoir. But our big main Keurig machine doesn’t have that issue. After some reading, we discovered that this little machine, in its stripped-down design, doesn’t have a “water low” warning and the elements burn out easily/quickly. So I don’t know if it was operator error that caused the issue or if the machine is prone to this issue and it would have burned out anyway. We take good care of our appliances and gently/carefully use them. I am now hesitant to reorder this machine. It seems sensitive and not able to take regular, human use without breaking down.

I drink a lot of coffee.

I drink a lot of coffee and have had many many Keurigs over the last decade or so. I currently have this one in pink at work- I work onsite once a week, so it only gets used on Sundays and has been holding up well for 3 months. I also have the Keurig K-Express Essentials Single Serve at home and use that one regularly. I prefer the express single serve over the mini single serve and it also the cheaper option out of the two! Although I love the sleekness of the mini and the pink color- I have a difficult time actually figuring out the rhyme or reason on how to get it to brew a cup of coffee. Sometimes I find after I put water in, it will make a bubbling noise and if I push the button, it will brew (eventually). Sometimes not. Sometimes there is no bubbling/warming up noise after filling it with water and I will push the brew button anyway- sometimes I get coffee, sometimes I don’t and have to press it again. I am sure it covers the steps to successfully brew a cup of coffee in the manual, but as much coffee and keurigs I go through, I feel that it should be common sense and never read the instructions. Even when a cup of coffee is brewed, it takes a long time for it to start brewing. I manage a farmers market and the keurig is in my office/storage room at the market, so I always brew a cup and step away for a minute to check on the market. Since it takes so long to brew, I don’t get any indication if it is brewing or not before needing to step away. The express brews immediately after selecting the size of cup you want brewed and it always brews, so there is no mystery behind the functioning of that Keurig (and I did not read the manual on this one either). The express also has the option between 3 different sizes, which for me doesn’t matter- I always choose the biggest brew size (10 oz) anyway- so it ends up being the same size of cup brewed as the mini. But for people who do want the option of coffee oz, it’s another reason to prefer the express. To sum it up- when my next coffee maker breaks (I am rough on them) and the store is out of the express and only had the mini, I will buy the mini again. Or if the mini comes out with a new color I LOVE and I can’t get the express in that color, I may consider the mini (I am a sucker for looks over function-ability sometimes) But when given the option between the express and mini- I much prefer the express, which is also the cheaper option of the two!

    Keurig Mini K

This is my 3rd Keurig, I love them! I needed a mini for the single cup use, to take to my mom’s for use when there. Bought it during prime days cause price dropped. Then, two days after after prime days ended, it dropped in price. If your offering it for less in prime days, not fair to consumer that it drops right aftetwards

    Small and compact

I bought this for my boyfriend for his birthday and he loves it. He’s had it for about a year now and he uses it every day. It’s small and easy to place in the kitchen. You can make one coffee cup from the amount of water it can hold. It’s fast and easy to use

    Nice gift

So, I decided to put my fiancé’s coffee addiction p good use and gift her the Keurig K-Mini Single Serve K-Cup Pod Coffee Maker in Dusty Rose. Honestly, it’s like I handed her a magic wand that brews caffeinated happiness!First off, let’s talk about size. This little beauty is perfect for small spaces – think of it as the coffee equivalent of a pocket-sized superhero. It fits snugly on our countertop without taking over the entire kitchen (which is great because we already have enough gadgets that scream for attention). Plus, with cord storage, it doesn’t look like a tangled mess exploded in our kitchen. It’s neat and tidy, just like my fiancé—well, most days! Now, onto the brewing power. With options to brew 6 to 12oz, this machine caters to all caffeine cravings. Whether she’s in the mood for a shot of espresso or a full-on coffee hug in a mug, it delivers with a speed that would make even the Flash jealous. Just pop in a K-Cup, press a button, and voila! Coffee magic happens faster than I can say “I should’ve bought this sooner.”Quality? Oh boy! The coffee comes out tasting fresher than my attempts at romance (and trust me, that’s saying something). It’s rich and flavorful—no bitter aftertaste here! I even caught her doing a happy dance after her first cup. If that doesn’t scream quality, I don’t know what does. Now let’s address the price. This little gem won’t break the bank! It’s like finding out you can afford both rent and your daily caffeine fix without having to sell an organ on the black market. In summary, gifting the Keurig K-Mini was one of my smartest moves yet (right up there with asking her out). She loves it so much that I’m pretty sure it’s now competing with me for her affection. If you’re looking for an affordable, high-quality coffee maker that fits perfectly into small spaces while delivering delicious cups of joy, look no further! Just be prepared for some serious coffee-induced happiness…and maybe a few jealous glances from your friends who are still struggling with their old drip machines. Cheers to love and lattes! ☕❤️

Good for my needs. One person. Lol

Bought this to replace the one i have for whenever it stops working so its still in the box. I see the reviews on the poor performance. Here’s a tip I found. Get a real small pipe cleaning brush & clean the nozzle that penetrates the K-cup! That worked for me. I do it once every few days. I posted pictures. Good luck.
