Attractive, No-fuss Cleaning, Reliable
Very nice espresso foamโrich. Really nice size and looks attractive in the kitchen. Hot and simple to clean. I really love kitchenaid products. In the black color I am rarely having to tidy it up after use. The drip plate stays very clean, no splash or grounds! Very happy customer!! Need a single-cup all stainless basket style k-cup coffee maker by kitchen aid too as this brand makes great finishes. Love the move toward more quality steel like the mixers.

The problem appeared right on the celebration day of its one-year anniversary.
Update.Kitchen Aid guided me through a quick reset. It took less than a minute. The coffee machine has been working perfectly since then. I am happy to give it 5 stars now.My original review is below:The problem appeared right on the celebration day of its one-year anniversary.I bought this espresso machine based on positive Amazon reviews and my long-time love for KitchenAid products โ I own quite a few. I was happy with the machine until yesterday, when I marked its first year of use. While the machine still operates, whether I select a single or double shot, it now runs for only about one-third of the usual time and produces just one-third of the coffee it used to. I performed descaling, but it did not help. For comparison, Iโve had a Nespresso machine that has worked perfectly for six years โ and itโs still going strong.Iโm very disappointed.

Very nice and sturdy!
I’m not an espresso expert and have never had an espresso machine. That being said, I love this machine! It’s nice and heavy and looks to be very well built just like my KitchenAid stand mixer. It’s simply awesome!!! It froths the milk nice and thick and fluffy, I ordered the milk frothing attachment from another website but it hasn’t been delivered yet. I was looking at 4 different espresso machines and this one won and I really think I made the right choice, just like all KitchenAid products it’s very nice and sturdy and works really well. It came well packaged as well. The coffee stamper is a nice metal as well which I noticed some other brands come with a cheap plastic one, it comes with extra things like two single wall cups and two double wall cups for one and two shots, other brands didn’t have those extras, also a nice coffee scooper and a milk frothing cup.

Works just right for me…
I use this machine to make my morning double shot of espresso and I think it was a great purchase. It comes very well packaged and is a very high quality machine. Paired with a KitchenAid Empire Red Grinder, the two machines work very well together. I am getting a consistent grind and a consistent cup of espresso. The combo is easy to use and easy to keep clean. I am not a latte fan so I can’t speak to that but all the parts for making milk drinks are included. This machine is well built and should last for years of daily use. IMHO, this machine is provides very consistent results if great daily espresso is the goal.

I love this machine!!
I love this expresso mchine! All of it is very sturdy and mostly made of heavy metal materials. I use a great decaf expresso brand, Gavina, and I get a very nice crema. I get a great crema with other expresso brands too The Gavina brand is also enviro and coffee worker friendly. I love the red color option of this machine. It really brightens up my black and white kitchen. Also, I think the price point is great. I have a friend who uses. much more expensive machine and I think my Kitchen Aid makes better coffee. Plus I think it’s American made!

Excellent buy for the cost and if you want to get into espresso!
I would not classify myself as a barista by any means, but this thing sure makes me feel like I’m one. My parents have a large espresso machine, and it seemed very complicated and took up a lot of space. So I wanted to go with a more compact one, but still get that fun feeling of making a special coffee drink. This is the perfect option if you are looking to do just that! You don’t have to be a coffee wizard, but it does give that feel that you are a barista and can make much fancier coffee drinks than a regular coffee pot would allow. Not to mention, you don’t have to drain your pockets to get a fancier coffee. This has been a huge game-changer for my espresso martini :). We even had friends register for it for their wedding once they saw ours. MUST BUY.

Amazing espresso machine
I love this Espresso Machine, I’ve had it for a couple weeks now and I’ve made MANY lattes!! My keurig machine has not been used in days I actually want to get rid of it because my drinks from my Kitchen Aid espresso machine are way better. The kitchen aid espresso machine is great quality , it’s heavy , durable & pretty. It’s super easy to use the buttons to make a espresso shot & to froth the milk. My espresso shots come out with a beautiful color crema after & I like how I froth my own milk manually because I like to make my milk extra hot. I also use milk alternatives like coconut or almond milk and I like how I froth it myself so I can get the perfect amount of froth for my preferences. The damper is heavy & great quality, so is the handle that holds the grounds- it’s so heavy it feels so high quality. I once had a delonghi completely automatic espresso machine that is priced at like $900 something and I love this espresso machine way more. I returned the delonghi one because I wasn’t satisfied. With kitchen aid semi automatic espresso machine I’m 100% satisfied & I’m keeping this thing! Only complaint is water tray at bottom fills up fast , like every 3 lattes about…. still over all love & reccomend (:

Professional quality at home. Impressed with this espresso machine
The media could not be loaded.
โ ๏ธ easy to useโ ๏ธ doesnt take up too much counter space.โ๏ธ matte black is more a very very dark grayIm so happy I purchased this machine.โ ๏ธ heavy/ nice weight to the portafilter handle/holder (i dislike how most at home machines portafilter handle feels like it will break. This handle “chefs kiss” feels sturdy and has nice weight to it (like a high end professional one)โ ๏ธ comes with different filters so you get to choose what works best for you. My favorite is the single wall double (it comes with 4 total 2 double walled (used more for pre ground beans, this is what most if not all at home espresso machines come with sizes are single (shot) and double (shot) and single walled (used more for fresh ground coffee also a single shot and double shot … this does not normally come with at home espresso machines these are my favorite and i feel give a much better coffee house experience at home)This machine is sturdy and weighted nicely so its easy to move around and out of the way.โ ๏ธ programmable buttons (you can set water temp and also program the machine to dispense exactly the perfect amount of espresso (manual tells you how to do this)Manual is very clear and concise. I always read it front to back before even turning the machine on.I set the water temp to the hottest it allows (has low, medium, and high) and it gives me espresso exactly how I like it, with the right fine ground beans you get a really nice creme foam bit on the head.Hemmed and hawwed because of the price thinking it seemed expensive for a home machine but it was worth every penny I paid. I use this machine every morning and I feel kitchenaid got the home machine down perfectly. You get the feel of a professional coffee house espresso machine with the compactness of the home machine.I love love love being able to make my iced espresso drinks at home in comfort. Its consistently always the same no surprises, no burnt tastes. Just pure at home espresso.โ ๏ธ tamper is solid and heavy. A true professional style tamper. It wont break on you and you can easily get the perfect tamping pressure you need/want with absolute ease.Water tank is easy to fill just pop it off, fill and slide back into place. The water tank is decent build quality I’d advise dropping it though as its just plastic but does look nice (I use R.O. water in mine which makes me not have to clean it as often of build-up) speaking if which, the auto clean function is nice although it takes approx 15 minutes and once started can not be stopped and you have to stay next to the machine to go to the next step (all in the manual)All in all I love this machine. Couldn’t be happier and so glad I spent the extra dollars for this machine rather then buying another “good enough” machine that will break in a year.Uploaded a video – seems loud but its not as loud in person. Ive used the machine while my bf is in zoom meetings and he says he cant even hear it. (Kitchen is very close to where his office set up with with no doors to block the noise)You will always have to put up with some noise with at home espresso machines because of the pump. Theres no escaping it.
