It has one job- to make a pot of coffee. It has only two settings- on and off. It’s perfect.Buckle up buddy because this is a love letter to the most utilitarian device ever created by mankind. I’m talking about optimal efficiency, intuitive design and user workflow, and zero interface/features bloat.This particular Mr. Coffee machine is perfect, full stop. It has one job and it does it flawlessly every. single. time. You choose your coffee. You put in the grinds. You fill it with water. You get the exact coffee you want.The machine features one solitary button- a toggle to turn it on and off. When turned on, it makes coffee. Add more water, get more coffee. When turned off, it stops making coffee. That being said, this machine is for giga brained people who can handle the responsibility of manually turning an appliance on and off.There is no A.I. or software to argue with. Simple, inexpensive makes good coffee, nothing fancy
Simple, durable, makes coffee. This is my second Mr. coffee of this model. The first one lasted something like 12 years with almost daily use. Of course, I needed to descale it a couple of times. No fancy controls or timer. Put in water, put in coffee in filter turn it on and you have coffee simple.

Simple, easy to use, good coffee.
My old coffee maker by another manufacturer needed a new lid for the carafe (just the lid), but they wanted me to buy a whole carafe for nearly the price of an entire coffee maker. So I noticed that Mr. Coffee will sell you lids separately. So I went with this model. Simple. No programming required. No clocks to reset every time the power goes off. Only an on/off switch, so you have to be responsible for not leaving it on overnight and burning your coffee to a hard, smelly paste. But it fulfills it’s purpose brilliantly by making an excellent pot of coffee every single time. Forget programming it for coffee to be ready when you wake up. Just flip it on, and it will brew your coffee in the time it takes to brush your teeth.

I got this originally to replace a Keurig that never worked right. I have had this coffee maker for 5 years, through thick and thin and it has not failed me once. It produces reliable and predictable but pleasant coffee without fail. It only has one ‘On’ button, and that’s all it needs

Works totally FINE. It comes with a plastic basket ( to hold the coffee).For the coffee maker, to properly- work,be sure to, ROTATE , this plastic basket,so that its’ “small plastic tongue”, slips into “small groove” of the coffee maker.

Didn’t know it was possible to get exactly what I hoped for and that costs less than I thought I would have to pay. Perfect size, handle more attractive than similar machines, great quality for the money, coffee grounds do not overflow, and it works well. Yes, it’s slow, but that gives me time to unload the dishwasher and start breakfast.
