The maker for coffee snobs
I love this coffee maker! First, I will say that this machine does NOT leak. The instructions clearly state to pull the red tab at the bottom of the water reservoir prior to use (if you don’t, then yes it will leak). It is easy to set time and delayed brew and comes with a variety of options perfect for coffee or tea. The hot coffee is made great and comes out hot (I stopped using Kuerig because the coffee was not hot enough). My coffee is ALWAYS full of flavor and I use a variety of flavored coffees. The cold brew option is wonderful and it comes out so smooth and delicious. I haven’t tried brewing a full carafe of tea, but I have brewed coffee with a tea bag and it also came out really good. It doesn’t take up much counter space at all and even though the parts are mostly plastic, it will last just fine if you take care of it.

Love the small footprint and multiple functions
I’m enjoying my “Perfect Brew” machine and so far, it’s living up to its name. It has a surprisingly sleek design, with a small footprint, which makes it good for smaller spaces.The water tank is super easy to carry, clean and fill. Brew into the carafe or directly into your own mug. I appreciate the fact that it senses the tea vs. coffee filter in order to brew your choice properly. Once your filter is in, the control panel is easy to use. You just press the knob and rotate for your choice of cold vs. hot. Press again and rotate to choose how much you want to brew (full carafe, 16 oz or 12 oz). Once that is chosen, it indicates how much coffee to add for that amount of water. Hit the brew button and after a few seconds, a countdown timer appears. Overall, an excellent and versatile coffee maker with very good brew taste and quality as well as the brewer itself, which is SCA-certified.

Nice beverage maker
Really nice coffee maker. Easy to use. A lot of different settings to choose from. I often drink tea in the afternoon and I can use this instead of my electric kettle, which frees up counter space as well(added perk, no pun intended, lol). It makes excellent coffee as well, adjusting the water level to the amount of grounds I put in. It’s tall and may not fit well under all cabinets. Using a #4 cone filter makes it much easier to clean. Pouring water in from the rear is a bit of a pain. Overall, I’m very pleased with it.

Quick and reasonably good coffee. Very easy to use and versatile.
It’s great for what it is – which is a quick and versatile coffee/tea maker. It’s well made and easy to use. I like the two completely separate coffee and tea systems which eliminates cross contamination. I’ve made a variety of cold coffees (which was primarily why I got this), hot coffee and teas. I have no problem with a little sediment but when you make the tea it’s very cloudy unless you use a paper filter. The cold coffee quality is very good considering how quick this makes it. Is it as good as an overnight drip? No. But since I’m too lazy to go through all that trouble this is great for me. To me it’s almost as convenient to use as a Keurig but the coffee is way better. I also like the size since it’s narrow and tall – fits nicely next to my drip maker and doesn’t take up much room.

Good coffee maker that makes a good cup.
Nice little brewer! it is taller than my old one and doesn’t quite brew as much, but I don’t need a 12 cup and this makes better coffee than that thing! Looks nicer on my counter too than the old one. So far I haven’t had any issues with it and have made at least one pot a day. since getting it.

As an iced addict, this thing is a game changer!
I am really loving this machine. I am addicted to iced tea, and this machine makes making my iced tea a quick and almost completely automatic process. The water reservoir at the rear of the machine is quite large and since I’m making iced tea and part of the carafe is filled with ice, I typically only need to fill the water every ~3 batches of iced tea. Iced tea comes out tasting consistently brewed because the machine times everything exactly the same every time, so no more setting a timer to remove a tea bag after a specific amount of time!I am a iced/hot tea drinker and nobody in my household drinks coffee, but we often have guests who complain that we don’t have coffee available. I am excited that this machine is multipurpose and we can also brew coffee in it for guests!After reading the instructions, it took me a few minutes to figure out the controls. They’re fairly intuitive, but since there are so many features, there are a lot of options to select. But, once you figure it out, it’s super easy.I was a little bit worried about cross-contamination and the machine tasting of coffee – but they give you separate filters & baskets for coffee & tea – which is smart. The machine also detects which basket is in place and uses coffee or tea mode based on the which basket is in the machine. There is also a cleaning cycle to clean your machine between uses.

It’s a little bit on the taller side and to fill up the water it has to be done from the back. This is not a unit that you’ll want to set underneath the cabinet. You’ll want an open space for it. I had planned to put it under the cabinet, but I realized that filling it up was going to be difficult. I have an open space near my stove next to an espresso maker, which is open, nothing above it, no cabinets, so I’ll be utilizing that space. I would say you want to keep that in mind because of the way the reservoir is. I have other specialty machines that you can fill from the front, and having them the under the counter is not an issue. I did notice when I made a full pot of coffee, I think it called for three scoops, and the Scoops I used were pretty level, but I did notice it where the water is distributed at the top, I had coffee remnants from the Brew basically splashed onto that face. If I were going to recommend a design Improvement, it would be that the plate could be popped off and rinsed off. I used the screen that came with it without a filter, but now I realize I can use a number 4 cone filter, and that’ll make the maintenance the cleaning process a lot easier. I guess my main takeaway from this machine is that you’ll want to have clearance nothing over the top of it to make it easy to fill it up with water and perhaps I’ll make a smaller batch of coffee so that the distribution plate for the water does not get splashed back and then have to be cleaned. I do like the display, it’s very easy to read it looks really nice. The setup was very easy for the timer I haven’t played with all of the features or read the instructions yet but this is a very nice unit very nice looking unit and most of all, it made a good cup of coffee. I like the countdown feature that it has I think it was five six minutes to make the small batch of coffee. Typically I’ll have two maybe three cups of coffee in the morning so this is a very good size for me. I haven’t tried the iced coffee feature, but it’s nice that I have that available to experiment with.

Steller… with a few notes
So here’s the thing: I wanted to be wowed by this machine, and in a lot of ways, I was. It’s sleek, compact, and packed with thoughtful features that make it feel like someone actually designed it for people who exist in the real world. The dual baskets (one for coffee, one for tea) are color-coded and auto-recognized by the machine, which is genius when you’re too tired to think straight. It’s great for small kitchens or anyone trying to declutter their counter, but still wants coffee and tea, and cold brew options.Setup was pretty easy, though I almost missed the red plug under the water tank; that bit definitely needs clearer instructions. Once up and running, it’s consistent. Hot coffee is smooth, not overly acidic, and I actually prefer it to my French press on rushed mornings. The cold brew function is cool in theory, 10-minute cold brew is ambitious, but it does taste lighter and a little watered down compared to a true overnight steep. Still, for a quick fix or an iced coffee base, it’s fine. And I love that you can brew straight into a carafe or a travel mug without needing an extra setting.My one gripe? I wish there were less plastic involved in the parts that touch hot liquid. It hasn’t affected flavor that I can tell, but I’d definitely feel better about longevity and safety if some of the components were stainless or glass. That said, it’s a smart little workhorse. If convenience and flexibility are your top priorities, it earns a spot on the counter. Just maybe don’t expect miracles from the cold brew if you’re a purist.

Why go out when you can brew at home?
I have been using this coffee maker for a little over two weeks and have tried all modes of coffee and tea (hot and cold).Based on the coffee or tea brew style desired, the unit automatically adjusts the brew time and temperature – which results in full bodied and great tasting coffee and tea. The unit even tells you how much coffee or tea to use!The large water reservoir is great and lasts for several days when making two cups of coffee a day (12 or 16oz cups each time). The unit has not experienced reservoir leaks (as per another recent review).The taste of the coffee is far superior to K-cups and since the unit is so easy to use the K-cup method is definitely taking a back seat (haven’t used it since we plugged in the Mr. Coffee unit).I had been using an overnight cold brew system that I used prior to owning this Mr. Coffee. This unit does such a fantastic job at providing a great cup of cold brew in under ten minutes that my previous overnight method is likely to be “retired.”Personal taste, but I find that the amount of coffee required is less than what the unit recommends. For example, 2 scoops for 16 oz of cold brew – I found that the taste is good and strong using only 1.5 scoops. Results may vary, based on personal taste or type of coffee used.One item to note is that the Instruction Manual was not included with our unit. I called the company and had them email a .pdf copy (since it wasn’t provided on the company website which I was told was an oversight so it might be there now). While the included quick start guide is enough to get you up and running, the instruction manual is key for taking care of the unit and understanding its full operation.Before your first use, don’t forget to remove the red plug if its found at the base or underside of the water reservoir.Overall, a very well-designed, highly practical, and sleek-looking appliance.

So Pretty
This coffee maker is awesome. Compact in size but not functionality. Design looks great in any area! Hot Tea, Hot Coffee and Cold Brew functionalities. Quality is worth the price.
