This was a gift for my sister. She had a Mr Coffee for YEARS. I trust Mueller products and the reviews I read were spot on positive. No odd or lingering plastic smell. The taste of the brewed coffee varies person to person – depending upon which brand is used and the amount added to basket. According to what she said – each cup tastes “wonderful.” The size of coffee maker is perfect for a kitchen countertop, noise level is normal..next to nothing. So far, my sister says it’s durable and feels she’ll enjoy the coffee maker for as long as or longer than Mr. Coffee. As far as my opinion goes -don’t hesitate to purchase this product. 🙂

Great dripper, just what looking for.
I’ve had several different drip coffee makers over the years. They all have made decent coffee and this one is no exception. The coffee maker that just died and ones previous have been programmable. I got those not because I wanted to program butbecause I wanted to make sure I had the automatic shut off. But I did not want the flashing time on the coffee maker. So black tape solved that. this one is simple from the start. One button. Makes very good coffee. Shuts off after two hours, perfect. The carafe is slightly better designed than previous ones that I’ve used. Easy easier to pour, less dripping. The water well in the machine is also easier to fill, just more room to pour.

Mueller 12 Cup NOT Auto Shut Off style – Since my morning wake up time varies, I set up the coffee grounds and water the night before I need it. In the morning, whenever I wake up, I have Alexa “Turn on Coffee”. By the time I get downstairs, the coffee’s ready! Make sure to set up Alexa plug before you set up the coffee pot. The pot should be ON but on Alexa app it should be OFF while setting pot up. I also made a Routine on Alexa that shuts off the pot at 9 a.m. everyday.*This is my second unit which is also NOT Auto Shut Off. I broke the carafe on vacation and immediately ordered another unit so it was at my home when I returned.

I am sure this is a very nice Coffee Pot but…Upon receiving it, we cannot use as the cord is too short. Not everyone puts a Coffee Pot these days on the counter. This cord is way too short to use on a Coffee Bar that has a regular wall outlet.

Good basic coffee maker
I like it better than the MrCoffee basic model. It is a little smaller and easier to turn upside down to drain. Only negative is the bottom is not sealed, just like the Mr coffee one. While this comes with a reusable filter, I do not use it that way. I still use a paper filter and then put the reusable filter on top of the coffee. It keeps the paper filter from collapsing and prevents the grains from entering the exit port.

We got tired of using our French press, decided to go back to a drip machine, and chose this Mueller coffee machine because it has a reusable filter. I think it lets way more flavor into the coffee. We like it more than the Mr. Coffee machines we’ve always had that used a paper filter. Simple on/off switch and no crazy features probably keeps the cost down. Makes a great cup of coffee!!

So if you are left handed, you might have to turn the unit a little to get coffee and water in.The filter sits in a specific way into a groove. There is a little white line to align.The water guage is clear enough to see the water you pour in.Trying to adjust the right amount of coffee yet.Being a 12 cup maker, if you are not use to lifting that amount of weight, you might have to be a little careful.Simple click on button.Automatically turns off after a while.But no worries.Stays warm for while.Plus, you can click the button again for reheating.Doesn’t take long.It is a great unit all in all.I am happy with this company and coffee maker. What I like about this coffee maker is its simplicity — one button to turn it on and automatic shut off. Nothing fancy. The grounds basket needs to be properly aligned to avoid a coffee grounds slurry on your countertop, but proper alignment isn’t difficult. The five star rating is because of customer service, yes customer service! They were responsive and helpful when I had an issue.

I have an $800.00 system in another house I’m going to sell – the house – 13 hours away – ‘have never tried the coffee system. I gave my friend an extra pod system from this house. I forgot I had it when I ordered another. Long story not to be shared, but I’m in my 13th year of tragedies from a good life flipped, so point being, I am NOT in a position to blow money now, so … even though I like my pod coffee maker, I like a pot of coffee going to keep the coffee warm (since my fairly new $$$ microwave is making scary explosive noises …. ‘don’t use it now). Borosilicate Glass Carafe!
Our carafe from our old coffee maker cracked (which seems to be a yearly occurrence). This machine had the auto shut-off we wanted for just a few dollars more than a replacement carafe. And with this carafe made of the non-porous borosilicate glass (pyrex), maybe it will last longer.

Very basic coffee maker, which is exactly what I wanted. My last coffee maker took up twice as much room and has around 12 buttons and functions that I never used. I just want a pot of coffee. Like other reviews said, just make sure that the arrow on the basket is lined up to the front and that the top of the coffee maker clicks into place too. All very easy. Also very easy to keep clean.

This is a great traditional coffee maker. Simple in function and design! Easy clean up and good work horse type of coffee maker as an alternative to K-Cup methods when you need to fill multiple cups rather than single-serve portions. Cost effective in the sense ground coffee in a can is less expensive than a box of K-Cup pods which can run betwen $15.00 or $28.00 USD for premium brands of 20-32 pods in a box.

Standard & basic coffee maker without frills – just what I was looking for. Be sure to read the instruction manual though. Specifically, I made the mistake of not placing the funnel frontward and not clicking the top lid shut, so the liquid didn’t drip into the pot, and made a little mess. Important to remember, but a very simple process and correction.I also like the compact size. So many out there are big and bulky. With me having a small apartment kitchen with limited counter space, I wanted the smallest size I could get for a 12 cup machine, because I love a full pot of coffee every morning!Pleased with my purchase and would recommend to anyone wanting small and simple!

Exactly the coffee maker that I was looking for!
I bought this coffee maker after my previous one finally broke. I was specifically looking for a few key features which this coffee maker had. I wanted a coffee maker that had a mechanical On/Off switch, and I wanted a coffee maker that did NOT automatically shut off after a period of time. The reason I wanted these features is because I am slowly but surely turning my home into a “smart home” and I have been wanting to automate as many things as I can. Surprisingly at the time I was looking at this coffee maker I don’t believe there was a coffee maker with native Apple HomeKit compatibility. To my knowledge as of October, 2023 there still isn’t. That wasn’t a big deal, because I have a smart outlet that I plugged the coffee maker into. Now I can have the coffee maker turn on and start brewing coffee at whatever time I set up the automation for, so that when I finally get out of bed the coffee is already brewing. Yes, I could have done that with an automatic coffee maker that has a built-in timer, but this is great because I can program the outlet to turn on/off at various times or set up stipulations that someone has to be home in order for it work (preventing the coffee maker from doing its thing when we are away from home and forgot to turn off the auto feature on other coffee pots that we have had.)I also really appreciate the fact that it doesn’t auto shutoff after 2 or 4 hours. I know that is meant to be a safety feature, but with my smart home it is an unnecessary feature. I have an automation set up that when the last person leaves home it shuts the outlet off. Normally I don’t assume that the automation will work, but in case I forget it will take care of it for me.Another feature, and I am not sure if this was a deliberate feature or not, but I have noticed that when it is brewing, occasionally it will pause brewing for a short time (maybe 30-45 seconds??) and that is good, because it allows me to pick up the coffee pot when it is still brewing and pour myself a cup if I am too impatient to wait for it to finish. It DOES have “pause and pour” meaning that there is a check valve that shuts off the flow to the carafe so that the coffee doesn’t just continue to keep pouring out on to the burner, but with this pause there is typically ZERO drips. May sound like a little thing (and truthfully it is), but that little drip gets on to the burner and the water quickly evaporates leaving coffee residue which I would have to clean up later. If I wait until the brewing temporarily pauses on its own then I prevent even a single drip. Like I said it is a small thing, but it is just one more small little thing that makes me really like this coffee pot even more.It is so ironic in a day and age when things are getting more technical and more sophisticated that I would willingly choose a coffee pot that is as simple as it can possibly get. I have had coffee makers that were far more sophisticated, but in the end I want to be able to control the coffee maker via my smart home and not have the coffee maker control itself.Lastly, I wanted to mention that the coffee pot is very reasonably priced at just under $30. The fact that I got a good quality coffee maker that is exactly what I was looking for and it also was among the lowest price that Amazon had to offer is a win-win for me! I have zero regrets buying this coffee maker. Actually, that’s not true — I wish I would have bought it sooner! If you’re on the fence, go ahead and get it — it’s a beautifully simple coffee pot which is exactly what I was looking for!

This has a simple on/off switch and makes up to 12 cups of coffee. During the brew, you can simply pull out the pot and you have about 30 seconds to fill your cup and replace the pot for the cycle to complete.

Pretty
It was a nice, decent weight plastic. And a very pretty pink. I would have kept it. I never actually used it. But it was just too big for my kitchen counter. I have limited space. Say it’s pretty well made.

Simple, easy, no mess coffee maker. Can use the coffee pot to add water with zero mess. Definitely wanted a new maker that was not expensive and had a reusable filter. I couldn’t be more pleased!!!
