Really love it!
I went to visit family for Christmas and they had one of these. I fell in love with the French press coffee. This by far is the best way to do it, a stainless steel container, a lid that’s twists around so that you pour it with the arrow toward the spout, turn the arrow around and it keeps the coffee hot for a long time. It’s easy to use to make the coffee. Not quite so easy to clean it. I finally dug out a long handle scraper out of my kitchen drawer which helps get the coffee grounds into the trash. A small price to pay for really good coffee! I guess I didn’t know that the filter screening comes apart so I’m going to have to check that out but it appears that people who do take it apart may have problems with it later on. So I don’t know what the answer to that is. I like that the coffee grounds are all at the bottom of the container. I like the fact that it doesn’t take long to get the hot water in the coffee together, and the only wait is for the coffee to brew. I haven’t found any problem with leakage and because it’s not made with glass there’s no glass thickness issue. I like the stainless steel container and parts. A lot more hygienic to me than plastic. It cleans up easily and well after you get rid of the grounds into the trash. The grounds are now being recycled into my trash company’s composting project. And according to the plumber who installed my latest garbage disposer, don’t put the grounds down into the sink and disposer. I think a few after you’ve cleaned it all out into the trash is probably okay. But not all of them into the sink. Put as much into the trash as you can. I’m actually considering getting a second one of these which will allow them to dry out a little bit in between washings to get the grounds dryer before I put them into the trash. Additionally if I have company I can make two pots pretty quickly for extra mugs of coffee.

Loving it!
I love this product! I have made several cups of coffee since purchasing it. I had a small 1 cup, glass French press which I enjoyed, but I knew I needed a larger pot. As microplastics have been in the news, I have decided to get rid of as much plastic as possible. This pot is all metal! As far as I can see, no plastic. It comes with an extra set of wire mesh filters.Things I like:Easy to clean…just unscrew the filter post from the filter system. Extra filtersAll metalSleek modern designCoffee most importantly tastes great! Now, the tricky part is knowing how much coffee to use. I have found I have to use a little more in order to get the strength I desire, but it is worth it! (I bought the pot that makes around 4 1/2 cups.)The only negative is that I can hear the press scrape along the sides when I press it down. Glass French presses are silent. This noise might bother noise-sensitive people. I can handle it, but I did notice it at first. Hope this review helps you!

ABSOLUTELY LOVE THIS COFFEEMAKER- Planning on getting another for guests
I have had this coffeemaker in steady use since March 22, 2025. It has made multiple pots of French Press coffee almost every day since- TO PERFECTION. The workmanship is pristine, it is beautifully finished, it keeps breakfast brew nice and warm for several hours, and just works like a trooper. For the life of me I cannot see the negative reviews based on the example I received. Guess some among us can invariably screw-up a steel ball with a rubber hammer!July 11: “Just to put my money where my mouth is”, I just ordered THREE (3) more on sale for GIFTS. My kids were so impressed with mine when they visited I just bought several more.

Keeps coffee hot longer & dishwasher friendly
This stainless steel French press has been a total upgrade from my old plastic one. The size is perfect for multiple cups of coffee. I love that my second and third cup stays hot without needing a reheat, which used to drive me nuts. The double-wall insulation really works—but here’s a tip you should definitely follow: pour some hot water in first to preheat the carafe before brewing. It makes a noticeable difference in how long your coffee stays warm. It’s also dishwasher friendly, which is a big win for me when it comes to easy cleanup. The only con? When you press the plunger down, you can hear and feel the metal-on-metal scraping. It doesn’t bother me too much, but if you’re sensitive to sounds or textures like that, maybe turn on some music while you brew.Overall, I’m really happy with this press—it looks sleek, performs well, and makes a much better-tasting cup of coffee.

Simple to use with no plastic pieces
I was looking for an alternate method to making coffee besides my Keurig due to me, wanting to reduce ingesting plastics. However, I am no barista and did not want anything too difficult. I was a little apprehensive that this would take too long to do since you have to heat the water and then wait for the coffee to brew. But it’s been great. I use about 3 tablespoons of coffee and fill the French press about halfway with hot water. After four minutes, I have perfect coffee without any floating grounds and there are no plastic parts. I highly recommend this French press.

Everything to like especially the flavor! WOW! what a difference!
After doing extensive research, I chose this Mueller as my first French press and I can assure you, I did indeed make the right choice! I depend on my service dog helping me with daily chores, so when I saw the reviews about glass carafe French presses breaking and shattering, I immediately ruled them out.Having over thirty years experience in design, fabrication and manufacturing, I compared the picture of this Mueller press to others and even without seeing in person, the quality differences were readily apparent. The finish on the formed stainless steel carafe is beautiful inside and out. The welded seams are done with excellent quality and polished smooth without any blemishes. Unlike many others I looked at in stores, the Mueller plunger rod has superior rigidity to ensure a long useful life. The screen filters fit perfectly and do not have sharp edges or points as is common in other brands; this attention to detail makes the Mueller much easier to clean as even my moringa, green and black tea blend easily rinses off without need to disassemble the screen assembly. The superior smooth finish on all the components also makes for easy cleaning of the entire press.Size does matter and the generous capacity means you can make one pot to last or have plenty enough to share with a friend. I have brewed from as little as one cup for my wife to a full load for me and this Mueller press works perfectly every time. What I really like is the double-wall insulating qualities which not only maintains temperature for the duration of the brewing cycle, but keeps the unused portion plenty hot enough for at least an hour as I’d forgotten that there was some left – typically I consume it all in less than thirty minutes. What does it make? Everything and it does an awesome job every time too! Like anyone who is familiar with industrial machinery, the first thing we do with any product is give it a complete and thorough test-run. In short, this Mueller passed with flying colors and as we say in the US Navy … Bravo Zulu!Loose tea – you bet. I had no idea that cutting open the tea bag and dumping the contents into this Mueller press would make such a HUGE difference in taste! I got some green tea pre-packaged in the common tea bags and it quite literally tasted like wet newspaper when brewed in the bags. I was sorely disappointed in the tea which is supposed to be a “premium” product as far as boxed tea bags are concerned. When I removed the tea from the bags and brewed it in this Mueller press it was a night to day difference and it turns out the tea is actually wonderful tasting when it’s not in the bags.I’ve gone on to brew loose whole-leaf gunpowder green tea and various sizes of chopped tea leaves from very course whole and broken moringa leaves to very finely chopped Oolong leaves. Same with coffee, this press works great with course and regular drip/percolator grinds with the only difference being that the coffee made in this Mueller press is sooooo much more tasty and satisfying! Contrary to popular opinion, I did indeed try using espresso grind coffee in this Mueller press and it does work; however, one must apply due diligence and common sense to press very slowly and allow the filter screens to do their job correctly. If you’re impatient and force it, it’s not going to work right so just take your time and let the press do what it’s supposed to do.In closing, I highly recommend this Mueller press as the go-to for all brewing needs!MarkKw

Happiness!
I’m extremely satisfied with this coffee press. Due to a caffeine sensitivity, I drink only decaf. My favorite is dark French roast. When using this lovely, all stainless-steel French press, I can control the heat of the pitcher and the strength of the brew. Ah-mazingly delicious! And it cleans up quickly and easily. I wanted a stainless-steel press because I keep reading about the dangerous consumption of plastic nanoparticles especially when in conjunction with heat. Most in-home coffee makers have plastic heating containers for the water and filter through plastic filter holders. Even when they have a glass coffee pitcher, the coffee has been brewed and filtered through plastic. The glass pitchers don’t always hold up well either. (i.e. read: dropped on floor) I used the pour-over method with a glass receptacle for a while but was gifted this and I’ve found it to be an excellent product for a highly enjoyable cup of coffee. I rarely buy a cup of coffee because what I make at home is the best quality and brewed to my particularly picky standard.

Easy to use
This is so easy to use and works so well! I use it for chicory coffee. Makes delicious chicory coffee…nice and smooth. As I’m the only one to use it, makes plenty for me.

Best one I’ve bought so far…
My husband will only drink pressed coffee. I’ve bought him a number of presses over the years, and this one is, by far, the best I’ve found. It’s thick and durable, no risk of shattering glass, easy to clean, can go in the dishwasher and filters well. No complaints.

10/10!
Hands down best french press! I’ve tried many before this one – they don’t compare. Very satisfied. Super easy to hand wash. I am washing it every morning – it usually gets annoying to wash everyday. Not this one – It makes washing a breeze with the way the handle was designed. Perfection!!
