Versatile machine
I liked how you have multiple options on brewing coffees, but also having the whole bean grounded fresh or pre grounded beans option. Cleaning the machine is kinda though but for an automatic dispenser machine it is not too bad to deal with.

Great quality coffee make with excellent steamer.
Expensive and worth every penny. Consistently makes great cappuccinos and lattes. The best part is the milk steamer frother. Super easy to clean. That is what makes this coffee machine one of the best.

Good machine and good coffee
A small design flaw prevents me from giving it five stars. The coffee bean feeder does not allow for all the coffee beans to move automatically towards the feeder when there are less beans in the feeder. Also there is no way to separately steam milk without actually making (or faking) a cup of capuccino.

Get it now before Trump Tariffs increase the cost for all Americans
Prices on all super-auto espresso machines have significantly increased since my last purchase about 10 years ago. This is now (pre-Trump Tariffs) one of the more moderately priced units. Minimal controls; but more than enough to produce decent lattes, capuccinos, espresso shots and American (ick) coffee. Milk system is very easy to keep clean. Wish I could turn up the heat a bit more on both the coffee and milk production.

Good machine
Overall, this is a great espresso machine! It’s super easy to use, and the LatteGo milk system makes creamy, frothy drinks with no hassle. The SilentBrew feature is a nice touch, making it quieter than other machines I’ve used. The ceramic grinder works well, and I love the variety of drink options, both hot and iced. The only downside is that it uses a lot more coffee beans compared to using pre-ground coffee with a filter, which can add up over time. That said, the quality of the drinks is excellent, and everything else functions smoothly. If you’re looking for a user-friendly, fully automatic espresso machine with great features, this one is worth considering!

Sticker on front difficult to remove
We bought an older model several years ago and it finally broke. Bought the newer model and the sticker that goes up the front of the water chamber is hard to remove and left behind a mess. Trying different things to remove the residual sticker now.

Fancy coffee maker that does everything
This is the second of this machine type we have purchased. Our first lasted 4 years making 4-6 coffee drinks a day. It is great that it steams the milk for you, has multiple types of coffee drink choices, grinds beans and has a water reservoir all in one. The biggest “issue” is the over-ride ground coffee compartment and button. It is on the bottom of the bean strength button that has to be held down to turn on. Often it takes multiple tries to turn on (several people with different size hands have tried) or it turns on but “eats” the grounds and doesn’t make coffee. Because of this, we don’t use it as often as we would like. If you don’t have a decaf and a regular coffee drinker in the house, no problem. Wanting to switch between the two, annoying. A little upfront investment but if it keeps you from the local coffee place at $4-6 a cup, it saves you in the long run.

Makes perfect coffee drinks
We recently purchased this coffee maker, and we are very happy with it. Every type of coffee drink is perfectly brewed. The automatic frother is wonderful. So easy to make cappuccino and lattes without the mess of the traditional frother. If anyone has trouble with the machine, it is important to set it up properly from the start and follow the maintenance instructions. It does need to cycle through five cups of coffee before it is ready to go.I have seen reviews where people mention that the coffee machine leaks water. Every time the machine is turned on and off, it rinses the nozzles into the reservoir which can fill up quickly. I can guarantee that people aren’t paying attention to this, and the reservoir simply overflows. You will not be disappointed with this machine.

Price protection of a $142 from previous purchase
After I finally set it up, it works very well although in order to get a full cup of coffee, you need to run the machine twice.I also noticed that just after the return date expired that the price of the machine went down from $741 to $599I called Phillips directly and they suggested that Amazon would issue me some sort of credit note or credit to my account. Please advise ASAP as I would consider ordering another machine to my Canadian address

I absolutely LOVE this machine! It makes delicious coffee, I look forward to my morning coffee. It has functions for multiple types of coffee beverages & strengths, all of which are wonderful. This model has the milk frother. I have only 1 complaint for this machine, it is loud. The noise will wake you before the coffee ever does, however, I can deal with that in exchange for my delicious cup of Joe. Buy it, you’ll love it

Quality machine, great design, super support
Was put off by some of the negitive reviews but happy I bought it. Home run. Espresso tastes great, the design is very good, easy to operate. Super silent.I’ve had two previous Saeco’s over the past 15 years. This are now owned by Philips. Philips borrowed much of the internal design from Saeco. One of the reasons I went with Philips is that being it was similar internally, maintenance would be easier for me. Also, I had few issues with my Saeco machines, so figured why not given other top brands have about the same ratings. What you’ll notice is this machine has the same internal brew system as my old Saeco from 8 years ago. But they changed about everything else …for the better. Drop trey no longer has any wires in it, or se sort, no faulty false sensor events. Also the water is now just a pull out drawer. No more top loading or filling. Easy slick. Love it.I was resistant to get the carafe. After my fordt Saeco that was fully automatic, and every expensive, started to give me problems after a few years, all those issues were with the brother, carafe, pump systems related to it. I wanted to pair down the range of internal components that could go wrong. Well the Latte Go doesn’t really have any additional internal components for this just the carafe using the built in brother pump (smae internals without the Go carafe) so I did it.The machine is super quiet. Espresso comes out HOT (big improvement from last generation). It’s also very good. I don’t know why people say it comes out watery. My first cup sort of did but then I adjusted the grind and the amount of water used per pull and BAM. Spot on. Maybe the very few negitive reviews just haven’t found their sweet spot..and i like mine as strong as it gets…still it’s smooth, strong, not harsh. Here is one negitive thing but also a silver lining. The Latte Go carafe broke on first attempted use. So much for that “fewer things to break” theory. The carafe is a genius concept but the carafe design itself is perhaps some of the worst design execution I’ve seen. Has a frame where you insert the container, the container has a hole at the bottom and will leak unless you clip the container into the frame just right. The hole at the bottom is suppressed by pressure. There is no functional reason to have a hole at the bottom, none. Anyhow, the plastic clip broke right off when slotting it in.I called philips support. Zero wait time, zero hassle, they were super nice and sending me a new one. I’m really hesitant about the carafe design or if it will hold up fkr a week nevermind years. However at least it’s external and support appears to be stellar if it does.

You don’t have to spend $$$ to get a good cup!
This is the fourth “super” espresso machine I have owned over the last 20 years and all were similar regarding features. So, I have some experience to base my review on and I may get a little preachy in the process. I can honestly say that this is by far the best machine I have owned. I roast my own beans and the Philips machine does full justice to the bean I strive to get a good flavor profile from when roasting. My previous machines were all “good” or “good enough”. But, this machine is excellent for producing a very satisfying cup. I say all this with one caveat – any machine, regardless of price, can’t make a bad bean better. Don’t waste your money if you are not going to either home roast or source your beans from a reputable roaster. Find a local roaster or check out Sweet Maria’s, Peet’s, and other online sources. While I usually just do a straight cup or two in the morning, having the frother for Cappuccino or Macchiato is a plus when having guests come by. It’s so simple! The other things I really appreciate about this machine are first, the much improved noise control from the grinder. Second, the very efficient extraction process. I am using 40-50% less beans than my previous machines and getting a vastly better cup. And lastly, I like having the ability to pre-set defaults for water temp, etc. It’s not something you have to do, but it’s there if you want it. If you decide to buy one, do yourself a favor and buy a set of the double walled, clear glass coffee cups. They are great for any drink when using the frother. It really enhances the visual experience, keeps your drink hot, and your guests will appreciate them.

Great Espresso and Cappuccino, Ingenious Milk Foamer
Makes great espresso and cappuccino. Quiet grinding and milk container is easy to fill and clean. The coffee foaming action is first rate. Its one weakness over our previous Phillips Intelia is that it doesn’t have a bean sensor. Our old Intelia would sense whether a full puck had been created and display a warning when inadequate beans had been ground. If your beans run low the 3300 might start dispensing brownish hot water instead of espresso. You have to try to keep the bean hopper full and the beans near the grinder entrance.

watch the pricing …
Coffee maker is fine.. what pisses me off is I bought it for 789.00 and 4 days later it’s 599.00 this doesn’t seem quite fair. It also came missing the cover for the bean compartment, while amazon refunded me 83.00 the cover cost me 22.00 plus 11.00 shipping.. not really too happy with this overall purchase,, the dollars sting but the coffee is good…

Great choice for easy lattes and cappuccinos
We have been using a Nespresso machine for years and loved the convenience but frothing/steaming the milk was always a hassle and never seemed to come out right. After using automatic machines in hotels when traveling, we loved the push-button convenience but didn’t really consider it an option for home use until we saw this machine on sale. It was a wise choice! After more than a month of use we are very pleased with the purchase. We like that it uses either ground coffee or whole beans and the ability to adjust strength and volume suits us perfectly since I like it stronger than does my wife. Having the milk steamed and dispensed for you is great when you are not fully awake in the morning.Cleanup is easy though the supplied instructions aren’t very enlightening. A more complete manual is available online along with how-to videos. There are also several YouTube review videos that I found helpful.

I liked how you have multiple options on brewing coffees, but also having the whole bean grounded fresh or pre grounded beans option. Cleaning the machine is kinda though but for an automatic dispenser machine it is not too bad to deal with.

Sticker on front difficult to remove
We bought an older model several years ago and it finally broke. Bought the newer model and the sticker that goes up the front of the water chamber is hard to remove and left behind a mess. Trying different things to remove the residual sticker now.

Versatile Cafe Machine
This machine is able to help us make so many great drinks. It can even do hot water for tea which is awesome. Makes a great cup of coffee. We are having trouble getting it to make larger portions, and the adjustment settings are a little tricky/we haven’t nailed it yet but I think we will. Honestly though it’s good, I’m familiar with the level up machine too, the 3400 (where this is the 3300) which has an added digital screen that guides you through all the things. If you can swing it, I’d recommend going with that one over this one as I feel it’s a bit more user friendly. But this is a good machine. Factory settings create small portions.

Sticker on front difficult to remove
We bought an older model several years ago and it finally broke. Bought the newer model and the sticker that goes up the front of the water chamber is hard to remove and left behind a mess. Trying different things to remove the residual sticker now.

FANTASTIC!
Buy it, you’ll love it

watch the pricing …

Great quality coffee make with excellent steamer.
Expensive and worth every penny. Consistently makes great cappuccinos and lattes. The best part is the milk steamer frother. Super easy to clean. That is what makes this coffee machine one of the best.

FANTASTIC!
