Best one I’ve found in my 20 years of using French presses!
I’ve been through MANY French presses in my last 20 years of using them- it’s the only method of coffee making that I use. This is by far the best French press I’ve ever used! 1-it won’t break: I’ve broken the glass ones from running hot water in it, then too cold of water to rinse it, plus knocking it into things, including just sitting a glass one on the counter made it break one time. This means that if you’re in a hurry, you can pour your coffee, rinse it immediately and run out the door. 2- it keeps coffee warm for around 2 hours (this was on a car ride with cold air blowing on it in the floorboard, so it might even stay hot longer).3- my FAVORITE part about this, as shown in the pic, is the little arrow on top of the lid facing the spout so you know how far to turn the tip in order to pour. I’ve always marked my presses with a sharpie on top to know where to pour, but I’m thrilled with the thought process and detail this company put into this, it just shows the quality. 4- this is the best filter system I’ve ever had on a French press. This comes down to the fit and perfect cut of the filter to the press cup. I’m used to getting some grounds in my coffee cup every now and then, but have yet to have this problem with this press. 5- the ability to pour multiple cups- and hot cups at that!- is so appreciated. After 20 years of using these things, I’m so glad to have found this!!! Thank you, Secura! If I could add one thing, I’d love to see them in different colors!

Attention Coffee Lovers!
After giving up on glass presses that eventuallyy break, I purchased a silver 17oz S/S Secura press and am well pleased. The design and construction are excellent. The double-walled design keeps the coffee warm much longer than expected. The single filter works well and is easy to clean. You don’t need several filters if you follow instructions per manual. This unit is easy to use and clean. I’ve used it for 2 weeks now and love this little gem! They even supply you with two extra filters for future use. One of the best purchases I’ve ever made. You can’t go wrong with this wonderful press, and you can’t beat the price

Absolutely beautiful and the coffee is delicious
This French press is absolutely beautiful! I love the heavy duty quality! It is sleek it is clean looking it is stylish! I have MS so I’m going to say it’s a little bit heavy, but it may be a situation where I feel as though it’s heavy, but perhaps it will not be feeling very heavy to you. This is the type of coffee pot that I would like to keep on my dining table because it has an elegant look to it. No plastic whatsoever, which is of course what I was seeking. I’ve always had glass and I must say this is much nicer. I do not know if it is my imagination, but the coffee was especially scrumptious this morning! I highly recommend this coffee pot. I am tempted now to purchase this as a gift for a friend of mine. I cannot imagine a nicer gift than one that a person would be using every morning and thinking of me.

Infinitely better than any glass french press I’ve used. Not to mention the value proposition with this being such a fair price, I literally bought 2 to give one to a family member.All of the metal work like welds, laser etching branding and laser etched indicator on the top of the lid to show where lid opens… It’s all very thought out and made with care. Any other product would have just printed on something on top of the metal work and it would have just scraped off in like 10 uses. This thing feels like a tank and would last for years and years. Even the spout where you pour the coffee has been designed in such a way that the way it pours is intentionally smooth and doesn’t “stick” to the french press and make a mess. I honestly think this might be the best valued purchase I’ve made on Amazon in the history of using it. It’s honestly that surprising. This thing feels like it could be easily $70 dollars, but it’s actually at a fair price.The only couple minor complaints I have, have to do with the screen mesh filter and the metal “spring” coiled around one of the assembly plates. I would love to see the inside circle mesh where a hole has been punched out to assemble the other parts on top of the screen, to have a washer/ring that lines the inside of that mesh hole punch. It has some slight fraying to it that I could see slowly deteriorating over time and it would also make it more comfortable with washing it without fear of one of the metal strands stabbing you in the finger. The other complaint is a little more of an issue with how the metal spring is assembled that lines one of the assembly plates. On my product, the end of the spring had just a sharp end sticking out, so when pushing the french press down, it would scrape against the side of the walls inside the french press. I ended up just taking a pair of pliers and bending the end part of the spring sticking out and pulled it inwards so it wasn’t facing the wall of the cup. Other than that though, pretty much perfect product. Highly recommend for anyone who wants to foam milk by pushing the press up and down a few times, and also for people who want to make a great cup of coffee.

Excellent quality French Press!
Excellent quality! I don’t use this the way most people do, though. I like to make coffee in a regular drip coffee maker, then pour it in here once it’s done brewing, and add my stevia, stir, and put the lid on. Then I can take it to my desk and pour into my cup to keep it hot the whole time I’m working and just pour as I need to. That way I don’t have to leave the coffee pot on and have my coffee taste burnt! I’ve also used this as a French press when the power was out to make coffee that way by heating water on the stove (we have gas stoves), pouring the water over the coffee grounds into this, and making it the way you normally would. You can also use it to make tea!

I didn’t know how good French press coffee could taste until I used this product. Yes, it takes a little more time that a Keurick pod coffee maker or drip coffee pot, but the there is no comparison on the taste.

Unbreakable stainless steel double wall will last forever
Why did you pick this product vs others?:This item selected for its stainless steel double-wall insulated construction.Functionality:Used twice daily, it produces excellent coffee with little heat loss, is easy to clean, and unbreakable.Size:The 17oz. capacity is the volume of the vessel, NOT the working capacity. The 17oz. model (which I have) produces 12oz. of coffee. Any more, and there is not enough freeboard to accommodate the press assembly. If you want to make more coffee than that at one time, opt for the 32oz.

Have a fancy breville coffee machine but I actually prefer this. My coffee always tastes consistent and good. My favorite part is that it’s stainless steel (no plastic!) and it’s really easy to setup, make and can put it through dishwasher to clean. Seems pretty sturdy. I just hope there’s replacement parts for two of the wheels and not just the mesh wheel. I do worry about it when I put it in the dishwasher and having a family member misplace it. Use it everyday ! If you love coffee and want to keep your hormones intact; this is a good purchase.

We purchased this French press specifically for dispersed camping. Talk about an amazing cup of coffee at your campsite! This item worked perfectly for a delicious cup of morning coffee beside the campfire. Forget the percolator or even worse some form of freeze dried coffee, buy the best beans you can find, coarse grind them yourself, and use this beauty! You will be grateful and you will enjoy camping more because your coffee tastes delicious!!
