Great purchase
My old coffee maker was no longer making good coffee. I decided to purchase an espresso maker and I’m glad I did!!! I was used to setting a timer on my old one so I had it ready when I awakened. But setting my new XIXUBU up the night before and only having to push the button is just as good…almost instant!! The frother took me a few tries to figure out but now I’m on to it!!! Very happy with my purchase! And it was on sale!!!

Dead simple but don’t expect the BEST pulls
Easy to set up and super easy to use. The build quality is fantastic and I have run into zero issues in getting it to run correctly.It is quiet enough for early mornings unless you want to use the steamer of course. Easy to clean and a great value for the price. I wouldn’t expect the best pulls without some upgrades but even with preground coffee beans it works as needed. Glad to make a cup every morningI do plan to upgrade with a bottomless, hand grinder and such for better pulls but it definitely gets the coffee made and delicious for the price!

Good basic espresso machine, with thorough manual.
This espresso machine works great. This one has the auto-froth plastic tube which makes it easier to make the foam milk. It heats up quickly in about a minute. It’s a good value and shows a gauge with head pressure (no absolute pressure readings shown). That gauge is an indicator how the coffee is ground and packed. Without the gauge you’re just guessing how things are working. It can fit a regular/small mug underneath so you don’t need special tiny demitasse cups to catch the espresso. It seems pretty heavy and durable.I would recommend using a milk froth temperature gauge to view when the milk is 140F – 150F range. I had one already, so use that to be sure the milk is warm froth, but before it scalds.One confusing thing that happened was after making one drink, there were three led lights flashing. The instructions explained that is a condition of overheating from the steamer. You can either wait a couple minutes for the machine to cool down, or just switch the steamer wand valve to spray water which cools down the inside a bit.The filters are sealed, and have remaining liquid inside which don’t seem to empty completely. When putting ours away, I run only water through the filter to flush the coffee out. I then shake it a good bit which causes the excess moisture to seep out of the filter. I’m not sure about the build up of mineral scale, but the instructions talk about the maintenance and descale procedure. The manufacturer seems to have thought through how to use and care for the machine. The instructions are readable, which is a welcome change from other manuals I’ve seen.
